Sagar: Swamiji pranam. There are millions of diabetes people in this world and it is increasing at greater speed all over the world. Swamiji do you think that prakrati has somewhere in its abundance some kind of medicine that will cure diabetes? I am willing to travel any corner of the world or jungle like Hanuman to get the herbs like Sanjivini.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Not only diabetes but several diseases like that related to heart, blood pressure are at rise in the world. reason behind being eating unbalanced , fatty food, stale food, no control over tongue (taste), laziness since people do not wake up early in the morning to do walk, light exercises etc. Intake of sugar, sweets etc., in excess.
First of all, everybody should overcome the above problems. Must take plenty of water daily, then automatically the frequency of diseases shall come down. Secondly, proper medical examination and medical advice should be seeked to obey. As regards medicine for diabetic available in Prakriti, several Prakriti chikitsaks (ayurvedic therapy) are advising people which must be obeyed.
Anil Kumar: Swami Ji, I had asked the meaning of 10th Shaloka of 1st chapter of Srimad Bhagavad Gita. You told the meaning “The power and strength of our army protected by Bheesham is not enough and is insufficient. However, power of the army of Pandavas is sufficient. Their commander being great, brave Bheema.”
Swami Ji, I have read from many books of Srimad Bhagavad Gita meaning the other way round. i.e. “Our strength is immesurable, and we are perfectly protected by grandfather Bheesham, where as the strenght of Pandavas, carefully protected by Bheem, is limited.”
But only in a few books of Srimad Bhagavad Gita I have read the meaning similar to the one said by you. (Like that translated by Swami Sivananda, Shri Purohit Swami, Swami Paramananda,).
I wish there was been Srimad Bhagavad Gita translated by you, too, since I cannot read in HINDI.
Now problem is that I want to read Srimad Bhagavatam, Mahabharat and Ramayana but don’t know which book will give me the exactness of the text. As is told by you that there are many false verses in Mahabharat created by people. Therefore please tell me where can I get these books in their original form (yet in English/Sindhi/Urdu).
Swami Ram Swarup: I am sorry that translation of original Mahabharat would not be available in English. However, you must approach M/s Vijay Kumar Govindram Hasanand, Nai Sadak, Delhi to forwarded you the requisite books. They may help you. Bhagwad Geeta’s translation done by me in English is in progress and I shall try to send it in printing press in due course.
