Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Ganga and Jamuna rivers are formed at the time of creation. The water from Himalayas starts and through Ganga, Jamuna is immersed in ocean. So, creation of Ganga-Jamuna rivers is natural. But throwing bones after funeral rites is man-made and not eternal and natural. Man-made matters are destructible but natural creation is everlasting.

I pray to almighty for your good health. Maharaaj ji I have few questions which I am putting forward to you for guidance.
1. Approximately how much time the entire process of creation takes. I have understood the process of creation. Similarly the destruction of universe also takes how much time.
2 Now a days for cremation of dead bodies in big cities only electric cremation is available, the traditional method is not there. Under such circumstances what should be do regarding havan with 39 chapter of yajurveda, on pyre, it’s not possible. Because time slots are given for cremation . What should we do in such circumstances. Please guide us.
3. We in the house have started putting ahutis of firsth and last mantras of 4 vedas everyday along with daily havan mantras. Can we do this? Our children also put these ahutis especially .

1.) Beti, creation and destruction are natural and take place at proper time automatically because as you know, it is not created by God but the fraction of power of God at proper time acts in prakriti and as said in Rigved mantra 10/190/3- “Suryachandramassoo Dhata… Yatha Poorvam Akalpayat” creation automatically starts.
Yes, then several years (in lakhs) are taken when time of final destruction remains. Thereafter, creation begins. Creation also takes few years to complete.
2.) When I was in USA, then my disciple late Shri Vidyasagar died. Same problem arose there. Then we all gathered and did Yajyen including offering aahutis with ved mantras of 39th chapter of Yajurved and offered our each aahuti on dead body. After completion of hawan, dead body was then placed in electric crematorium.
3.) Yes, beti. You, your children and your husband can do this. Again, my heartiest blessings to you all, my daughter.
