Basant: Please tell me what should be the age(KAAL,date) of Maharshi patanjali, Kanaad and gautam. Indologists dates patanjali sometimes between 200 B.C. To 200 A.D. . Maharshi kanaad is dated 6th century B.c. Maharshi gautam is also dated very badly. I want to know your view.

Anonymous: Pranaam swamiji last time when i asked question about upanishads you answered that learned Vedic scholar accepts only 11 upanishads. What it meant by this? Maharshi Dayaanand was not a Vedic scholar?.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. I can never ever think that Swami Dayanand Saraswatiji was not a Vedic scholar. He was a great scholar of Vedas. I’m sorry how you thought me to think against Rishi Dayanand.
As regards Upnishads, it is said that there are 108 upnishads but learned of Vedas do not accept it. I’ve read only 11 upnishads i.e.,

5. Kathopnishad
6. Prashnopnishad
7. Eiteryopnishad
8. Taitiriyopnishad

which are found true.
