Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. For this, you should wear Mekhla (tagdi) after doing havan even with Gayatri mantra. You must do daily havan chanting Gayatri mantra and if possible other Ved mantras also. A book in this regard is available with us wherein the process of doing havan is briefed. The book contains Sanskrit Ved mantras with word-meanings and detailed comments in Hindi. Name is Yajya karma sarvashresth Ishwar Pooja worth Rs.65/-., excluding postal charges. It can be send to you on receipt of your postal address if you so desire. You may also make contact with Arya Samaj to learn pronunciation of Veda mantras of the book.
