Swami Ram Swarup: Yajurved mantra 23/20
Taa ubhau chaturah padah samprasaryaav swarge loke prornnuwathaam vrisha vaji retodha reto dadhatu.
Oh ! King and public, as you (Ubhau) both i.e., (Tau) king and public
(Pornnuvaathaam) attain/get (Chaturaha) arth(finance),dharma(righteousness), kaam(fulfillment of pious desires), moksh(final liberation).(Swargey) in divine blissful [Lokey] world.
In the similar manner, we, the preachers (Samprasaaryaav) must spread it. As (Vaaji) learned king, who (Retodha) attains might/strength (Retaha) must establish might/strength in public.
Similarly, the public (dadhatu) should also establish might/strength within the king.
Meaning- Oh ! King and public, as you both i.e., king and public attain/get, arth(finance),dharma(righteousness), kaam(fulfillment of pious desires), moksh(final liberation), in divine blissful world.
In the similar manner, we, the preachers must spread it. As a learned king, who attains might/strength must establish might/strength in public.
Similarly, the public should also establish might/strength within the king.
Idea- If the king and public follows Vedic path and behave like father and son, then they attain the four stages of Dharma, arth, kaam and moksh. As the king spreads happiness and mighty/power/strength in the public.
Similarly, the public should also spread the same for the king.
Note- Vedas never promote/preach about the swarg and narak in the space etc. I paste my article in this regard as under-
Swarg Narak
Swarg and narak are on earth only based on the deeds of previous lives’, because the deeds of present life will be borne in the future life. Punishment is given to bear the result of past deeds only without considering that individual repents or not. If one has to repent then while experiencing enjoyment of worldly articles, he always sees the other poor, defaulters, orphans, lame, leprosy patients and moreover several deaths which cause sorrows, as the result of previous deeds. But very few repent and become ascetic. In this connection Rig-Ved mantra 10/135/2 says that God has given the human body to face the result of the past sins. And whatever sins the individual does in the present life he will face the same in the next births. But those who go to a learned Acharya and follow the true path while discharging family duties, they kill the previous sins in this life and have no sin to bear in the next life because such persons always do pious deeds under the guidance of a learned Acharya who knows Vedas.
The person is given punishment in another life because he has to face the result of the deeds of past lives’ in the present birth and thus no scope of bearing the sins in the present life of deeds (sinful) done in the present life. This is a fundamental law of Vedas which I have written so many times stating three types of karmas and would request you to please see www.vedmandir.com also in this connection. This human life is only blessed to go to a learned Acharya, to understand p
hilosophy of good and bad deeds, sins, philosophy of worship, aim of life, duties etc., as is also said in Rig-Ved mantra 10/135/3.
Yajurved mantra 23/21
Utsakthyaa ava gudam dhehi samanjim charyaa vrishan. Ya strinnaam jivbhojanah.
Oh! (Vrishun) powerful king (Yeh) who (jeevbhojanaha) eats the vital airs/breath of (isstreennaam) women i.e., who is sensual sinner either man or women, catch hold of those and (Utsakthyaha) punish them by hanging them in the position that their feet are upwards and head is down and thus (Av, dhehi) stop (gudam) the immoral activities and (Anjim sumchaarya) establish your justice.
Meaning- Oh! powerful king who eats the vital airs/breath of women i.e., who is sensual sinner either man or woman, catch hold of those and punish them by hanging them in the position that their feet are upwards and head is down and thus stop the immoral activities and establish your justice.
Idea- oh! King, in the public those who are entangled in immoral activities, they must be subjected to severe punishment.
Yajurved 23/22-
Yakosakau shakuntikahalgiti vanchti. Aahanti gabhe paso nigalliti dharka.
Idea of Yajurved mantra 23/23 is that the king should never make false promises with public and should not cheat people otherwise people will do the same with him.
(Note- please do not ask for doing explanation of ved mantras till the end of june, 2017 because I am very busy in spiritual tasks these days.)
