Anonymous: Namaste Swami ji, how are you? My question: Is it true that through astrology they can tell your past and future based on the birth chart? And, also are those people who make a great show of their yogic powers authentic yogis or they just use some tricks? Personally, I do not believe in astrology and I think a true yogi will never act like that but my husband is fascinated by those things and still is convinced there is some truth in them. Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. Beti, present astrology does not exist in Vedas so is not acceptable by learned and Rishi-Munis and as regards the so-called Yogis who show their yogic powers is not appreciated being against the Vedas.
