Anonymous: I am a Jain but I like reading the Vedas, now I know Jainism is completely fine with that but what about Vedanta? Does it allow someone from another religion like Jainism to read and learn Vedas. Another question relation to the last one, what do the Vedas say about extreme Ahimsa?
Swami Ram Swarup: Beta, you try to study Vedas from a learned acharya. It will be most beneficial for you. As far as ahimsa, it is not applicable for such instances like killing enemies by a soldier on the border while fighting. Secondly, to save ourselves etc. As far as Vedanta is concerned, it does not tally with the Vedas.

As per a guy claiming that Sun was formed after this Earth, I am quite not able to believe it. Because it’s not possible for Earth to form before the Sun… And as far as I’ve listened satyarth prakash even Maharishi Dayananda ji has also said that Sun was created before the earth.
Please, your views on this are needed..
