Mahesh: Namastey Swamy ji. Hope you are fine and I hope you remember me. Their are plenty of things I want to ask, but I prefer to talk to you rather than going through emails. Will it be possible to have a meeting with you by any chance?
Swami Ram Swarup: Namasteji. With the blessings of God, I am fine and hope the same for you. Dear Mahesh, you are always welcome here.
Ravi: Please help me in getting thambathigal aikya bathya mandra in rig veda starting thagum sanichyuvase in Tamil.
Swami Ram Swarup: Please quote the mandal, sukta and numbers of Rigved mantra which you are asking to enable me to give proper answer.
Aakash: Pranam Guruji Guruji is there any ved mantr that tells that one will have to maintain strong determination to follow the preach of Vedas? Pranam Guruji.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. In this connection, Atharvaved mantra 1/1/4 states that human being must make contact with acharya to listen to Vedas and such listening must never be stopped. The mantra states :-
“Vachaspatihi Asmaan Uphvayataam Sangamemahi Shrutein Ma viradhishi.”
Samved mantra 50 states – shrudhi shrut karnnaha i.e., listen to Vedas from ears.
So, there are several ved mantras which inspire us to listen and follow vedic knowledge.
Govardhan: Pranams to Swamiji, I purchased and studied your books on Vedas from a book exhibition at Chennai. Thanks for your dedications which clarifies so many of my doubts about the contra versions in spiritualism, Ideology and Mythology. But still I have many logical Questions in my mind. I don’t want to waste your Golden time for all my doubts. So I want to go through original translations myself w.r.t Vedas, Epics such as Mahabharata & Ramayana either in English or in Tamil. Where from I can get those books.? Let me know please. Thanking you.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. I appreciate your views to study vedic culture. You are advised to make contact with M/S Govindram Hasanand, Arya Sahitya Bhavan, Nai sarak, Delhi.
