My question is that the place of soul is considered in heart of human body by our holy books but when heart transplant is done body is kept on ventilator and heart removed out . So How this body remains without AATMA. And in autopsy man live for artificial heart for years How that possible?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Soul is not of the size of 100th part of needle. Atharvaveda states that take the tip of hair and divide it into 100 parts. Then again take its one part (100th part) and then further divide it into 100 parts. Mantra states that its 100th part is yet not equivalent to the size of soul i.e., soul is yet minutest/subtlest. Then how a scientist can see the soul? Soul is invisible by all means.
When we are awakened then soul resides in left eye, while in dreams, it is in throat and while a person is having sound sleep then soul resides in heart.
The death according to Vedas is defined when soul goes out of the body and not only when heart beating is stopped. So, matter of installing ventilator etc., is not applicable, please.
Rashmi Sahu: Aadraniya Guru ji, Charan sparsh and pranaam, regards to everybody in the ashrams. Guru ji,please enlighten with support of mantra from Ved and manusmriti about gay issue in sanatan dharma. Further what is triyank yoni (trishanku)?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you all, my daughter. Neither Vedas nor Manusmriti and other ancient holy shastras, epics etc., say about gay issue and hence to adopt it is a religious sin. If a person fails to attain “Devatvam”, i.e., to be a learned person, then he goes in Triyak yoni that is of animals, birds, insects, worms etc./Asur yoni as stated in Yajurveda mantra 40/3 i.e., “Asurya Naam Te Loka Andhein Tamsa Vrita……….”.
Amit: I am well educated and in a good job. I have done a lot of sins and I want to leave everything and get completely devoted to God. I am unable to find a Guru. How can I do this?
Swami Ram Swarup: Your views are appreciated to seek a guru and to turn your life towards truth. Actually, this is the motto of our human-life. So I would advise you first to read some of my Vedic spiritual books, if possible, list of which is available on the website.
In the meantime, you must sit on any asan in the morning as well as before going to bed in night to chant Gayatri mantra at least 11 times with closed eyes concentrating between two eyebrows.
G J: For how much time the effect of surya grahan 22 july 2009 will remain on pregnant lady? When should she come outdoors & what precautions she should take?
Swami Ram Swarup: Surya grahan does not effect any person including pregnant lady. It is a scientific and geographical phenomenon, under the control of Almighty God. However, while the duration of eclipse, one should not see towards the sun directly because it affects the eyesight.
