Navin: Pujya Swami Ram Swarupji, Jai shree krishna and pranam. Every living being has ICHHA or wish in life and several ichha generates in each seconds, we know maya is the mother of all ichha, These ichha is based on purva janam and when fulfilles we call punya karma time or bhagya so to fullfill ichha we must have punya karma of last birth as bhagya and to support we must have pursarth and tapaysia now pursarth and tapaysia may not be of last birth it is earning of this birth only, again to help fulfillment of ichha we must has prakruti as satva, rajesh and tamas. In other words, we must has punya karma as bhagya, and our bhagya will be supported by pursarth, tapasya, satva, rajesh and tamas to make ourselves what? In other word karma is the life line for any living creature? In short I wish to full my ichha so what the norms, some of them i have given just to know more from your side, please reply me detail.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Yes, the desire is right from the birth that is why in Rigveda mantra 10/129/4 it is stated that learned, by means of real Vedic worship, kills it and becomes ascetic. However, there are two types of desires (ichcha)- pious and unpious. So, Vedas and all shastras etc., preach to harbour pious desires only like doing daily yajyen/hawan, name jaap of God, practice of Ashtang Yoga, listening of Vedas, making contact with learned acharya of Yoga and Vedas philosophy, to render services to parents, learned persons, discharging moral duties towards family, society and nation to attain progress in spiritualism as well as in pious worldly matters. (science, agriculture etc.)
Yajurveda mantra 40/2 states that when a person will discharge all pious duties as mentioned above and other duties mentioned in Vedas then he will get long, happy life and will never be entangled to face the result of the deeds. It means, he’ll be able to make his future bright otherwise he shall have bad desires resulting in entanglement of vicious cycle of death and birth. Punnya and paap i.e., pious deeds and sins result in continuation of never ending death and birth cycle. So, the human body is blessed by God to overcome the desires (control over prakriti) and to become ascetic to attain salvation. Yog Shastra sutra 1/15 and 1/16 very well teach us to become ascetic otherwise the vicious cycle of death and birth to face sorrows will remain unending.
Yog shastra sutra 4/29, 30, 31 also state that when a Yogi attains Samadhi i.e., attains salvation then Raj, Tamas and Satva qualities of Prakriti do not effect him any more.
Rajesh: In which havan with mantra we can get for aquiring land?
