Prakash: Swamiji Pranam. I am greatly honoured upon receiving answers to my query about mind-matter-soul today morning. My deepest thanks to you you sir. On the 10th of this month, I wrote my own answer to the above query to feed my burning desire to know the probable answers, which I give below for your wise advise. Pranam.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Thanking you, please.
1.) Mind is made of non-alive prakriti, so mind is minutest/subtle/suksham matter. Soul is alive matter, so soul and mind are totally different from each other. So, how can it be the illusion of soul. Yes, mind collects the worldly information from five senses. Then the mind sends the information to intelect (buddhi).
Five prann, five suksham indriyan, five suksham bhoot, mind and intellect are seventeen suksham matters which accompany the soul when soul leaves the body.
2.) Brain is compared of millions ofneurons .not correct please.
3.) About consciousness, ego, atma/soul please efer to my answers.
Anonymous: Param pujaya Guruji, our charan sparsh & dandawat pranam at your pious feet. With your blessings we are fine and our worship is going on. Guruji, I am sending this mail with lot of hesitation. Initially I thought not to write this question but as your good self had said that we should clear all queries and should ask question to guruji to clear doubts based on Vedas. So from bottom of my heart I am requesting you to please forgive me to ask this question. Guruji, what I understand from gurukul pratha is that in ashram of a Rishi, all person whether King or poor are treated equally. All facility of say food, shelter etc. provided to everyone are same regardless of their status. If normal person is served one food then king is also served the same food. If other person for e.g. sleeps on the ground then king also should sleep on the ground since in ashram all are same and to be treated equally. I saw a disciple being given a special consideration in food. Again I am apologizing to ask this question. Please enlighten us to gain correct Vedas knowledge.
Pranam, Guruji. With charan Sparsh at your pious feet.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you all, my son.
Your doubt is genuine but you see the food is served by the sangat and I never come to know not do I need to know about the happenings amongst sangat. If, we’ll watch anybody then we’ll not be able to concentrate on the spiritual education. So it should always be ignored being worldly matter. However, somebody told me that whatever is made, the same is served to everybody equally. Even , I take food from kitchen from where everyone takes food.
So, the aspirant who is after spiritualism should ignore such things always because such things are always unknown to me even and as regards food to be served. For the first time, you’ve diverted my attention towards this issue. Still, I’ll never tell my sangat to favour or not to favour anybody. This being worldly matter so, you should also ignore such things, you being an aspirant.
Anuj: I wore a janeu during my marriage last month. Now I want to remove the janeu. Kindly tell us what should be done to the janeu after removal whether it is kept in Peepal tree or put in some flowing river?
Swami Ram Swarup: Janeyu should never be removed. It is to be worn for whole of life, please. However, when Janeyu wears out then immediately second one is worn and old one is flown in water.

B K: Mere ghar kee poorv disha mai peepal ka ped hai kya is vastu dosh ka koi nivaran hai, kripya batayen.
Swami Ram Swarup: Peepal ka ped shastron mein achcha kaha gaya hai aur vastu kala ka varnnan vedon mein nahin hai isliye vidwan isko nahin mantey. Aap is bare mein chinta na karein.
