Neha: According to Hindu religion, after how many months of pregnancy a pregnant women are not allowed to worship or enter in the temple?
Swami Ram Swarup: In Vedas, there is no mantra wherein, a pregnant lady is not allowed to worship six shastras, Upnishads, Ramayan, Bhagwad Geeta, Mahabharat and other holy ancient granths written by the Rishis also do not state about such ban. Instead Vedas and shastras tell such lady to worship more like doing daily hawan, listening to Vedas and holy literature etc., so that the pious effect of worship on the baby is gained for his long, happy life.
PM: Swami ji Namaskar, Since God in infinite. does it mean God is like 1 lakh kilometers in distance? Or there is only God of size of my room in my room where I am sitting?
Swami Ram Swarup: God is one but His pious qualities are infinite. One of the natural qualities of God is to be Omnipresent. So He is everywhere. I mean to say, He is within the universe and beyond the universe as well. He is the minutest being Omnipresent in every atom and the biggest i.e., beyond the universe, still remaining omnipresent. He is Formless, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent, beyond calculation, beyond imagination. He creates, nurses and destroys the universe. He was one, is one and shall always remain one. He is the unchangeable Lord of souls, Prakriti and prakriti made universe.
Anonymous: My mother is suffering from depression and does not even go to doctor nor takes any medicine. what to do?
Swami Ram Swarup: When Vedas have advised us to take medicine immediately in case of any disease then we must obey the Vedas which are an order and preach of God, for our betterment and long life otherwise life will be decreased. So, please advise your mother to take medical advise or make proper arrangement at your family level that she is immediately checked up medically.
