Swami Ram Swarup: Nahin, koi bhi sadhu-sant aadi mantra se ladoo nahin la sakta. Yeh kewal hathon kee safai hai, jaadugari hai.
Anil: Namaste Swamiji. I do meditation with the Gayatri mantra everyday as prescribed. However, I still do not the reason why we have to do it 108 times. Why does the mala contain 108 beads?
Swami Ram Swarup: Namasteji. Yes, it is good to do meditation with Gayatri mantra. Process to do jaap with string of beads (mala) is man-made procedure which is not compulsory.
