Bipin Badheka: Pranam, Swamiji. Charan Sparsh. Our country has great culture from the past. We had Sri Ram, Sri Krishna & so many rishis, munis, yogis on this pious land. At present also only in India yogis like you having knowledge of Vedas & ashtang yog exist and nowhere else. In other words, only in India real worship of GOD on basis of Vedas (though less in nos.) is followed and in no other country. So in spite of such a pious land and deeds why our country at present has so many problems like corruption, poverty, starvation & recent tension with neighbor countries like Pakistan & China. Why few countries like Ireland, Switzerland, Norway, Canada, and New Zealand are far more peaceful & developed than us. No doubt only we have great heritage & knowledge of Vedas/Shashtras etc. but why so many problems like illusion, superstition, false prophets/saints exist here. Can we say that person born in those countries mentioned above had done more pious deeds in previous births in comparison? But other point is also that person of these countries are also unlucky not to have knowledge of Vedas etc. like us. So in that case we are really lucky to born here by mercy of GOD. So this is somewhat confusing and we are not able to understand this. So kindly request you to please clear this doubt and guide us. Pranam.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Problems like poverty, corruption, injustice, early death, tension, diseases, dishonour of woman etc., are due to lack of knowledge of four Vedas.
Real peace dwells within heart. You see, the public, in the kingdom of king Ravanna and Duryodhan was wealthy but in the absence of spiritual knowledge, mental peace was not there. In the ancient times, wealth as well as mental peace was there within people, due to spreading of Vedas’ knowledge everywhere. So, if any country is wealthy then it does not mean that crime rates are less there and the entire population has mental peace. So, wealth and mental peace, both are required simultaneously.
So, lack of wealth will never create the problem if a person is worshipping God, daily based on the knowledge of Vedas and based on other true, authentic holy books. On the other hand, only wealth will neither give permanent peace nor would exempt humans from above quoted problems, being the fundamental law of Almighty God.
N: What will happen if we marry a person who got seva dosham? If suppose by knowingly we marry a person who got seva dosham what will happen?
Swami Ram Swarup: If the boy is earning well, educated and you can spend your life to look after the boy and to maintain your husband’s house properly, to spend long, happy life and the boy is also capable to take your care properly then you both may solemnize marriage. Match should be fixed based on the good qualities of both sides. As per Vedas, it has no concern with seva dosh, teva, nadi dosh or manglik etc. Actually, such matters are not even mentioned in Vedas.
