Bipin Badheka: Pranam, Guruji. Charan Sparsh. It is stated that God has no desire. His creation & destruction is automatic and awards happiness and sorrows as per deeds. Now if a person starts doing deeds as per Vedas then he can change his future like killing of sanchit karmas, attending long life etc. It means future is in hands of person and can be changed by him and can even attain salvation in present life if hard practice as stated is done. In other words future, after say 50 years, can’t be predicted since person can change it on basis of his deeds. So is it future can’t be predicted by anybody taking this stance? In your book it is mentioned that Shri Krishna told Gandhari that he already knew Yadavas will be destroyed in future. So how he knew this? Can future be predicted by Yogis/Rishis? But if, to change future is in the hands of person then how future can be predicted since sanchit karmas may be destroyed by person in present life as stated above? Kindly request you to please guide on this subject. Pranam.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my son. Yes, you are right, future is always in our hands because whatever we do, we’ll have to face its result thereof. So, we can finish our sanchit and prarabdha karmas and attain salvation by following the eternal path of Vedas.
Prediction of future has no importance, please. Actually, present deeds i.e., kriyamann karma change the future. So, learned never worry about past deeds and future but they do present deeds according to vedas to change the future as well as to finish the past lives’ and prarabdha deeds.
Yes, Yogeshwar like Sri Krishna Maharaj, Sri Ram, Vyas Muniji and present alive Yogis are empowered to know the future of anyone. Such statement has been very well mentioned in my book Patanjal Yog Darshanam Part I and part II which contains detailed explanation of each sutra of Yog shastra.
Future is in the hands of every person, it means future can be changed and made bright, as explained above.
Nisha: What instrument does nandi play? Why does nandi play his instrument?
Swami Ram Swarup: In Puranns, Nandi has been stated as means of transport of Shivji Maharaj. But, in my knowledge, Nandi (bull) did not play an instrument.
Anonymous: There is a talk of my marriage. My examinations for MA is coming too. I am feeling upse and not sure what to do.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. You see, my daughter, life is a struggle and we have to face it bravely and not in upset manner. Be brave and solve all the problems with hard working then God and acharya would sure help you.
Exam is separate matter and marriage is a separate issue. If you pass your M.A. exam then you will as well as every one around you would be able to appreciate the fact, that you are M.A. as well. Otherwise, people would say that you could not appear for M.A. exam due to your own laziness/weakness.
Now you’ve to decide what you want to be called for entire life. Vedas tell that one should always be brave, should not be lazy, must be hard worker to get success at every step of life.
You’ve calibre to clear M.A. exam, so you must go ahead, my daughter. Ved mantra stating –“Me Manaha Shiv sankalpamastu” i.e., Oh! God, my mind must harbour only pious/beneficial thoughts and not negative thoughts.
So, your thought is a negative thought, my daughter, which your mind is harbouring as not to appear in M.A exam. This is a weakness of your inner self that you are afraid to appear in M.A exam. Please overcome your negative thoughts by being brave and hard worker.
Anonymous: guruji parathe jaise aaloo k waghaira kiya yeh brahamcharya kha sakta hai aur lal mirch, kale mirch? aur kiya hum apni fiancee se phone pe daily bat kar sakte hain ya fir roz mil sakte hain?
Swami Ram Swarup: Brahmchari ko tali hui cheezon se parhez karna chahiye. Aloo ki tari wali sabzi achchi hai aur bagair aloo ke simple parantha bhi theek hai lekin opposite sex se baat karna tab tak bilkul manaa hai jab tak shadi na ho jaye. Han, telephone par achchee batein karne mein koi parhez nahin hai. Han, shadi se pehle akeiley milna manaa hai, group mein mil sakte hain, Mera ashirwad.
Harish Arya: What are the foods that are eaten in grahasth aashram but are prohibited in brahamcharya ashram?
Swami Ram Swarup: The details of food have been mentioned in Brahmcharya book written by me. So, you are advised to study the said book because the matter being lengthy cannot be described here, please.
