There are three types of subjects preached in four Vedas —
i) Gyan Kand ( knowledge –matters/science etc.)
ii) Karma kand (deeds)
iii) Upasana kand (worship)

Rigveda mantra 4/23/1 puts the question that from whom and how, the knowledge of Vedas is attained? Its answer is that if in an early age boy or girl (aspirants) controls his/her senses, perceptions and mind by observing Brahamcharya and takes vegetarian simple diet containing all vitamins, gets the knowledge from an Acharya, he must be hard worker having keen interest in the Vedas.

Secondly, the Acharya must be a true spoken,
learned of Vedas and he must know the ashtang yoga
philosophy.
The idea of mantra 4/24/4 is that mind is
not purified until daily worship, Yajyen and practice
of yoga philosophy is done without pure mind,
attainment of the assets and realization of souls/God
is not possible and for the same hard working is must.
Idea of Rigveda mantra 5/30/3
is that the Vedas’ knowledge must be taken from a true
speaker and the follower must be having a purified
mind/ heart, which is free form fraud etc.

The first mantra of Rigveda
Is —-
“AGNIM EDE PUROHITAM YAJESYA DEVAM RITVIJAM
HOTARAM RATANDHATMAM”
The idea of the mantra is that human life is meant to
work hard towards both sides i.e., spiritual progress
as well as pious materialistic progress. Therefore
while discharging all moral duties right from
childhood, one should also work hard to attain the
knowledge of Vedas to know about pious deeds, matters
and worship and after knowing the same, one must
adhere to routine life.
Therefore the first mantra of Rigveda states that
we must have extreme and firm desire to realize God.
AGNIM means one who exists before everything i.e.,
God. God who is PUROHITAM, means world, i.e., puri,
God creates universe and nurses and protects and HITAM
i.e., one who brings about the welfare or benefit.
YASYA DEVAM HOTARAM means he who enables us to be with
learned to serve them to get knowledge. RITVIJAM means
adorable in every season. RATANDHATMAM means He who
beholds all lokas( i.e., earth, sun, moon, etc., and
gold, diamond etc.) and DEVAM means gives us. EDE
means desirous of – I desire, praise. So idea of mantra is—–
I desire and praise the God who exists before
everything, who brings about the welfare or benefit,
who enables us to be with learned to serve them to get
knowledge, who is adorable in every season, who
beholds all lokas, and gives us everything.

The Idea of Rigveda mantra 6/7/4 is that learned of Vedas who has practiced Vedas’ preach in life, overcomes the sorrows and death etc. Therefore, he only speaks truth based on Vedas. He has also learned ashtang yoga philosophy from Vedas and thus has realized truth. Mantra says that the boy or daughter on attaining age of eight years, go to such an Acharya to attain knowledge of four Vedas and thus attains perfection in truth ( dharma-eternal religion, arth— pleasure of getting assets, kama— pious desires and
overcomes bad desire, Moksha— final liberation).

Mantra 5 says—- such an Acharya (Guru) is like our father and mother.
Mantra 6/9/2— further clarifies about the
relation of Acharya as father and mother. Mantra says
that it is an eternal law that in human life there
must be two fathers and two mothers. Mantra says in
first instance, the father and mother are the one who
give birth to a child. Vedas say this is not
sufficient. Thereafter, after completing the age of
seven years, the child must go to his Acharya to learn
Veda’s knowledge and the Acharya thus becomes special
father and vidya (knowledge of Vedas, being female)
becomes mother. So Rigveda mantra 1/149/5 says “YAHE
DWIJANAMA” (DWI means second, JANAMA means birth i.e.,
second birth), he who gets second birth, he becomes
DWIJ. Because he takes first birth from his first
mother and father and second special birth from
learned Acharya and vidya (Veda’s knowledge), so first
birth is given by parents and in second birth the
preacher—Acharya is his father and vidya is his
mother. If this eternal law made by God is not
attained then the first birth becomes useless. This is
also applicable to those who have wasted their early
age without getting second birth, therefore either
child or elders must go to the learned Acharya to get
knowledge. Why? Because the child will not be able to
get knowledge and being ignorant will ever be merged
with illusion resulting to face sorrows, tensions,
diseases, problems, short life etc., etc. So it shall
be futile effort and it shall all go in vain .That is
why, the Acharya, then discloses the divine eternal
name of God with the eternal method to chant it etc.,
to the aspirant and gives him preach that is DIKSHA.
DIKSHA means to follow Brahamcharya and rules of
Vedas. It is then that the human-birth gets justified
and aspirant is accepted as “DWIJ”. Now his human
birth is given a definite meaning with a definite
purpose by the Acharya. However, to get the blessings
of Acharya or to satisfy him , alone being DWIJ does
not serve the purpose, the actions and deeds of the
aspirant should be in accordance with the Vedic tenets
and preach of Acharya and it is then that Acharya
reposes faith in aspirant and showers Vedic knowledge
on him. Otherwise why an Acharya will continue to
accept his follower to give knowledge if follower is
fraud, liar and is unable to control his senses,
perceptions and mind etc.?
It shall not be out of place to mention
that in the ancient times when king Manu,Kshipta,
Vikshipta, Harishchandra, Puru, Dashrath, Shri Ram,
Pandav and their subjects etc., with their whole
family, ladies and gents adopted the said eternal law,
they were all happy and attained salvation while
discharging all moral duties.

Today’s Rigveda Preach by His Holiness, Swami Ram Swarup ji, Yogacharya.

ANNOUCEMENT
As you know the four Vedas Yajyanushthan is being carried out, Rigveda is in hand and mantras of Rigveda are being recited by His Holiness accompanied by Sadhvi Ritambhara, Pragya, Geetanjali and Gargi. When hundred’s of followers- ladies and gentlemen recite loudly, at the end of every mantra, the word “Swaha”, it makes oneself compelled to recollect the ancient time of King Manu, Harishchandra, Ram, Mata Sita, Ansusuya,Rishi Vyas etc., when they used to perform such holy Yajna before their beloved public.
This is also amazing that Almighty God gives power to us every year to solemnize the Yajna for five-six times a day, i.e., more than eight hours a day since 1979.Yajna commences early in the morning since 6:30a.m. and remains up to 8:00 p.m. in night with usual interval to take water, milk and food.
After closing the annual said Yajna, the Yajna is never broken and starts from the very next day reciting Ved mantras two-three times a day with explanation of mantras in Hindi by Swami Ram Swarup ji, for whole of the year until the month of April comes again for commencement of annual Yajna.
Since the birth, three children Somendra Kaushik (14 yrs.), Richa Kaushik(13 yrs.) and Omendra Kaushik (9 yrs.) studying in schools also take part regularly in Yajna to recite mantra independently and to explain in Hindi also. The children also sing spiritual songs in their sweet voice.

Mantra 6/62/8 hints at Vasu, Rudra and aditya. Vasu means the place provided by God to live. In Atharvaveda mantra 33 non-alive devtas (those who give) are mentioned. Vasus are eight— Agni (fire), Prithivi (earth), Vaayu (air), Antriksh (space), Dyuhu (light emitting heavenly bodies), Aditya (sun), Nakshtr (planetary world) and Chandrama (moon).
Rudra are eleven— ten vital airs in body and alive soul.
Ten pranns are — Prann, Apaan, Vyan, Samaan, Udaan, Nag, Koorma, Krikal, Devdutt and Dhananjaya. Aditya are twelve months. Here aditya means months created by God.
The calculation of time in Vedas are from sun and moon, please. Moon has Krishna paksh and shulk paksh each of 15 days. And so is the sun from which month and time is known.
Every creation has its own importance. If there would have been no pal (eyelid) then there would have been no rest of eye’s pupil and no sound sleep with closed eyes, no merriment while embracing son, daughter or any other etc. And there are so many signs are created with closed eyes and even with open eyes.
In Rigveda mantra 1/164/12 there is knowledge of KSHANN (moment of time), Muhurat, prahar, ahoratr, week and month. The earth moves round the sun from which days and night are made, which are called ahoratr. From this 8 prahar (I prahar= 3 hours) and 30 muhurats are made.

In one ahoratr there are 24 hours. Indra i.e., Electric, Prajapati, i.e., Yajyen.
The mantra says that we must know about the said Vasu, Aditya, Rudra etc.
In Atharvaveda mantra 10/7/38, it is mentioned that there is only one God Almighty, who is omnipresent in universe and the said thirty- three non-alive Devtas (matter) are created by the God. He beholds and the existence of thirty-three Devtas is due to the shelter given by God to them. In Brihadaranyakopnishad too, there is a great discussion between king Janak’s Acharya (guru learned of Vedas and Yoga) named Gargi and Rishi Yagyavalkya to declare as who is a Brahmarishi (it is astonishing that now a
days mostly self-proclaimed Brahmarishis are there and based on their false statement are looting money out of public to extreme level).
One of the questions, put by Gargi, was how many Devtas are there? Rishi Yagyavalkya answered, there are thirty-three Devtas. Gargi asked, “Are they
Worship-able?” Rishi answered, “No please, being non alive matters created by God.” Gargi asked, “Any other Devta who are Respectable/worship -able?” Rishi answered , “Yes, please.” Alive five Devtas i.e., father, mother, atithi,
Acharya and Almighty God are to be respected and God is adorable and worship-able.
The above Rigveda mantra further states that learned aspirant must know about Vasu, Rudra and Aditya and human being must worship only one God who is omnipresent, holds the creation and has control all over. Person will only be happy, who worships, meditates the God. Some qualities of whom are mentioned above otherwise the man will have to suffer in whole of the life.

Today’s Rigveda Preach by His Holiness, Swami Ram Swarup ji, Yogacharya.

This subject is often preached by most of the present saints that God resides and is realized with in the human body. In this connection, we must remember the idea of Manusmriti shlok 2/6, “VEDAHA AKHILAHA DHARMAM MOOLAM” i.e., all the knowledge, science and deeds etc., emanate from Vedas. Bhagwat Geeta also states in shlok 3/15 that Vedas emanate from God and all deeds/knowledge originate from Vedas. So this truth must be known that whatever true references from any holy book are taken and told by any saint, with regards to deeds, knowledge or worship etc., the same already exists in the eternal knowledge of Vedas and really the preach from any holy book on matter of truth, is already briefed in Vedas.
The existence of this universe too is really according to the management under the direction of four Vedas. This may be proved by an example of a
newly born baby. The baby, if placed in dense jungle and provided with optimum food and other facilities to rear him up to the age of 25-30 years. The outcome would be that the child would be ignorant of any language or subject of knowledge and would be termed as ignorant and dumb. This example proves that until and unless the knowledge is given by someone, the same can’t be acquired by other person. Hence, two requirements for dissipation of knowledge are there, i.e., knowledge giver and knowledge
acquirer/receiver.
Hence, as stated earlier, all the knowledge of true subjects mentioned in present holy books and science etc., is already given in the eternal knowledge of Vedas. That is why, the said fact also stated by Rishi Patanjali in his Yog shastra sutra 1/26 that the giver of the entire knowledge of
Vedas on this earth is Almighty God, who is the first Guru of four Rishis of unsexual creation at the beginning of the earth.
For example, any present saint taking extract from any holy book like Bhagwat Geeta, Ramayana etc., though starts saying that God is within
human body, but amongst thousands, an exceptional learned of Vedas will speak that the same truth mentioned in the said holy Granths, is taken from
Vedas. Through Rishis Munis, Saints, or through other media, in this process perhaps Vedas have been over sighted and have got consideration only on shastras etc., as a proof, whereas shastras are Partah Pramann and God’s given knowledge in Vedas is self proof.
We again come on the above said point of residing God within body. In this
connection, let us quote an example of Rigveda mantra 1/164/20 wherein the same eternal truth is mentioned- DWA SUPARNA SAYUJA SAKHAYA SAMANAM VRIKSHAM PARI SHASVJATE.
TAYORNYAH PIPPALAM SWADVADTTYANASHNNANYO ABHI
CHAKSHEETI.
That is, the human body is like a tree. (Why tree? Because the body is deteriorated, cut and destroyed like tree.) And on the tree two birds
reside. One eats the fruits of the tree, where the other bird only witnesses. Witness, here is God and bird who takes the fruit i.e., faces the result of his
deeds, is soul. Let us consider the second example of Rigveda mantra 6/9/4. Mantra says “AYAM MARTYESHU” i.e., within the mortal bodies, “IDAM AMRITAM” i.e., the immortal. “JYOTIHI” i.e., God resides “IMAM PASHYAT” i.e., realizes this God who resides within the body.
Mantra further says “AYAM AMARTYAHE”, the matter who is also immortal “TANVE” by body “AA JAJYE” is realized “SAHA” i.e., the soul. So the mantra
preaches that the soul and God are immortal whereas body is mortal and both (soul and God) reside within the body. Thus both are also separate from each other, because soul bears the result of deeds but God does not. The idea to describe the above matter is this, that if we are living in family and due to attraction, only we are taking care of our children, wife, husband
and having love for them, but ignore our parents, who gave us birth to enable us to get merriment of family, children, assets, etc. So being thanklessness of a person, it amounts to sin. Similarly, the true idea of
God and soul has been mentioned by God in Vedas that both reside in body. So when we speak about the same subject from any holy Granth and if we are not aware of fact that the truth has been taken from Vedas then the truth can never be maintained in the universe and we will be called thankless person avoiding the praises, worship of Vedas and formless God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe and again creates and for giving the real benefit/ merriment of life to human beings, He (God) originated the eternal
knowledge of Vedas in heart of four Rishis. This example is only on the matter of God and soul who resides in body, which throws light on other millions of matter mentioned in Vedas. So study of Vedas from a learned Acharya to maintain truth in the universe is must, as has been in the ancient times.
Therefore to say from any holy Granth that God is within body and one must seek Him there, (within body) is true based on Vedas, but without quoting the praise of Ved mantras from where the said truth emanates, will be an insult of eternal voice of God in the shape of Vedas and will be a try to oversight the knowledge of Vedas. Will it not be a try to establish one’s own path, by which Vedas will totally be ignored forever? Will it not be considered
a try to destroy eternal culture resulting to destroy nation? We must know Vedas are not sects and thus are applicable for whole universe being the eternal knowledge emanates from God, the GOD WHO IS ONE FOR WHOLE UNIVERSE.

Today’s Rigveda Preach by His Holiness, Swami Ram Swarup ji, Yogacharya.
Until a person is anxious to gain the knowledge (truth and untruth etc.,) he cannot be happy with his life. Idea of Manu Smriti shloka 5/109
is “BUDHI GYANEN SHUDHYATI” i.e., there is an illusion all over i.e., on mind etc., based on the past lives’ sin and attraction of soul towards Raj, Tam, Sattogun of prakriti in the shape of kam, krodh, mada, lobh, ahankar. This illusion is overcome by virtue of attaining knowledge from Vedas and practicing Yoga philosophy.

You see, the visible organs of the body are purified by water but not soul and mind. Mind is only purified when mind accepts truth, tells truth and discharges true moral duties whereas soul is purified by maintaining Brahamcharya, listening eternal knowledge of Vedas performing Yajna, practicing
Ashtang Yoga and adopting true/pious deeds according to Vedas etc. Then comes intellect (budhi) when a person follow the said religious path then true
knowledge, understanding about matters/science, discharging of duties/pious deeds honestly and above said true worship originates in his intellect(budhi)
automatically. And thus by virtue of said originated knowledge intellect overcomes the illusion and becomes purified .Idea of Rigveda mantra 4/24/4 is
that in the absence of above quoted worship etc. intellect is neither purified nor a person becomes broad minded. With the result ,he is unable to earn
pure money, assets etc., and therefore he neither realizes himself nor becomes able to realize God.

Yajurveda mantra 1/18 very clearly therefore states “TAPASA TAPADHVAM”. Always do hard tapasya daily. Taitarao Aranyak states definition of Tapasya as under –
1st — “RITAM TAPAHA” i.e., to accept truth, to speak truth.
2nd — Listening of Vedas
3rd — Attainment of peace within mind
4th — Control over senses, perceptions and mind
5th — “Swaha” i.e., offering given in fire in Agnihotra
6th — “Yajyam Tapaha” to perform holy Yajna with Ved mantras or to remain always in contact with an Acharya (who is learned of Vedas and Yoga philosophy)
7th — “Danam Tapaha” – to donate to right learned Acharya and needy person as per Vedas
8th — To practice Ashtang Yoga
9th — To bear cold and heat and other obstacles while sitting on aasan and serving an Acharya who is learned of Vedas
10th — “Sham Tapaha” i.e., to do best pious deeds according to Vedas and to maintain high character.
Even to worship God is a Tap. So all above quoted pious deeds are Tap. Rigveda mantra 7/70/2 states that everybody must be associated with Vedic holy
Preach, learned person and holy Yajna.

The above type of Tapsya will fulfill your all pious desires to provide a long happy life. Tapasya is like a water and Tapasvi is thus fulfilled by all spiritual and worldly pious happiness, bliss as an ocean is filled by so many rivers.

The meaning of Yajya is not only to offer Aahuti in burning fire with Ved mantras. However, this is the best worship and the best pious deed on the earth. The holy Ved mantras and omnipresent God actually become adorable and are highly respected in such Yajya but in addition the meanings of the said holy Yajna are several but the best meaning is Dev pooja and Sangatikaran and Daan.

Devpooja – There are five alive Devtas who are worshippable i.e. , Mother, Father, Atithi, Acharya and God. There is word in Sanskrit “POOJA” i.e., worship. So the Real meaning of Pooja (Worship) is to give respect. When we give respect to first four Devas by virtue of sweet speech, water, food, bed, clothes, aasan, money, obeyance etc. It means we are worshipping them however in case of Almighty God, He actually creates and nurses us so we are not able to offer Him above goods, as He gives us everything. So the best worship of God is to obey His preaches/orders given in His eternal knowledge of Vedas. God has given orders to hold holy Yajna, to do name jaap, to listen Vedas, to practice Ashtang Yoga, to hold Brahamcharya, to do hard task to earn money, to look after family etc. So one should always listen Vedas while sitting in Yajna by alive Brahmaa (who knows four Vedas). So Yajna is the best worship of God.
Second is Sangatikaran. It means one should go to an Acharya who is learned of four Vedas and Ashtang Yoga philosophy. He must serve him the best by all pious means, stated above also to learn Vedas and Yoga philosophy in return.
Third is Daan i.e., donation. The slight hint of which is given above.
So Yajna is the best pious deed and worship of God.
Knowledge only enables a person to use life, body with senses, perceptions and mind, assets to make the best use of the same to realize truth.

Today’s Rigveda Preach by His Holiness, Swami Ram Swarup ji, Yogacharya.
SCIENCE IN VEDAS:
Atharvaveda mantra 11/6/22 says about five directions ( Dishanyen) and six seasons.
– Rigveda mantra 1/105/1 says about moon that it revolves in space along with air in space and depends upon the light of Sun. O king! learn the lightning of the bright, golden rays which do not give the benefit of your thoughtful technical dealing and you are unable to use it properly. So this is the significance to invent electricity.
– Yajurveda mantra 18/24 teaches right from number 1,2,3,4 to counting up to infinite. This mantra also teaches addition telling 1+2=3; 3+2=5 etc. Similarly, it teaches subtraction.
– Yajurveda mantra 18/25 teaches the table of four saying 4×4=16 etc.
– Saamveda mantra 65 teaches about three types of fires in universe i.e., electric, sun and general fire on earth produced from wood, coal etc.
– Yajurveda mantra 31/1 says about 10 fingers including thumb i.e., four fingers and one thumb. Thus it teaches to count on fingers which has been a tradition.
– Yajurveda mantra 17/2 says 1 and 10 and 10×10=100. It further says 10 times 100=1000; 10 times 1000 = 10,000; 10 times 10,000= 1 lakh etc. But in Vedas English words are not there. For example, one is mentioned as “Eka” ,10 called “Dasha”, 100 called “Shatam”, 1000 called “Sahastram” then other figures are Ayutum, Niyutum, Kharab, Nikharab, Mahapadam, Shanku, Samudra, Madhya, Ant, Prardh etc. In school and college, students and teachers generally go up to Arab and Kharab but seldom go up to prardh.
– Yajurveda mantra 23/62 explains how to make triangular vedi, rectangular vedi, circular vedi etc., which shows the knowledge of trigonometry.
– Rigveda mantra 10/130/3 teaches about geometry. Saamveda mantra 222 clearly describes about three lokas:
(1) Heavenly bodies comprising light emitting planets etc.
(2) Space
(3) Earth
The space beholds heavenly bodies and earth.
– Yajurveda mantra 3/6 mentions about earth that is oblate spherical i.e., flattened at poles and that it rotates in space.
– Vedas mention about astronomy wherein study of spaces based on shunya (zero) and from the structure of earth mentioned.
– Rigveda mantra 1/34/11 states to the technicians/engineers to make aero planes, which are capable to remain in the sky for a journey continuously for three days, three nights and further eleven days and eleven nights.
In the said mantra, the ancient Rishis invented the figure zero which has been now useful for the whole of the world.
– European scientist professor J. P. Halstead has written a book, named “Ganit Ki Neev” Aur
Prakriyayen”. On the 20th page of his book he has written that the importance of zero is beyond
description. Zero i.e., nothing, has not only been named but to give it in a form and force has been a wonderful task of only Hindu race. This is like a strength which gives dynamic power to a construction.

– Samveda mantra 630 says that in universe there are so many small and big planets which rotates on their own axis and in a fixed orbit but never break their course/direction.
– Vedas say that energy of Sun is deteriorating and one day the universe will be destroyed. Science says similar rule and introduces it as “Entropy law”.
– Atharvaveda mantra 9/9/11 says that this earth is rotating continuously in the space on which the human-beings, animals, plants etc thrive. The earth has so much load but its axle never becomes hot. This is astonishment.
These examples of science mentioned in Vedas is like a cumin in camel’s mouth and remaining is unlimited.

Today’s Rigveda Mantra Preach in Yajanusthan by His Holiness, Swami Ram Swarup ji, Yogacharya.

Rigveda mantra 7/89/2 states:
YADEMI PRASFURNNIV DRITIRN DHMATAO ADRIVAH.
MRIDA SUKSHATR MRIDAYA.

i.e., (Yat Dritihi) when I am spending my life like a bellows and I am always attracted towards glittering materialistic articles of world then it is a total waste of life over sighting the real objective of attaining arth (finance), dharma(discharging of pious duties in accordance with Vedas and holy Granths), kama (pious desires), moksha (final liberation).
Bellows is made of skin of dead animal. When it is technically used then the air is pushed in and pushed out of bellows systematically, but it does not maintain any alive soul as is in a human body. So God advices that the breathing system of a human being must not be go in vain like a bellow.
God has given human body to a soul. First word of a Gayatri mantra is “Bhuhu”, i.e., God is giver of respiratory/breathing system to human beings.
Vedas say “Pranno Vayee Brahma”, i.e., Prann(breath) is God. The idea is that human body has been blessed to a soul with five main Pranns (vital airs- Prann, aapaan, vyaan, udan, samaan) to go to a learned of Vedas and Yoga philosophy to perform Yajya and learn Ashtang yoga philosophy in which the Prann are used to do Pranayaam, to control Chitta Vritti, (faculty which receives knowledge from five senses and passes the same intellect is called Chitta and Chitta stores the effect of various karmas to be faced by soul in future at a proper time) which further enable aspirant to realize God attaining perfection in Arth, Dhama, Kama, Moksha which is truly a goal of human life. So the shastras say “Pranno Vai Brahma” i.e., Pranns are helpful in the path to realize God i.e., why Rigveda mantra 7/70/5 states “Shushruvansa Ashwina”, O! learned of complete knowledge of Vedas, kindly bless us with your preach relating to the eternal, true knowledge of Vedas preached by ancient Rishis.
Vedas are complete true knowledge. Reason behind is that the same emanates direct from immortal and omniscient Almighty God and originates in the heart of four Rishis in unsexual creation at the beginning of the earth.
So the Vedas are not book and have not been written by anybody and not even by God. There are so many mantras which direct the human being to go to learned of Vedas to learn Vedas and preach there in to follow in life.

This fact is also in Rigveda mantra 7/70/6:
YO VAAM YAJO NASATYA HAVISHMANKRITBRAHMA SAMARYO
BHAVATI.
UPA PRA YATAM VARMA VASISHITHMIMA BRAHMANAYRICHYANTE
YUVBHAYAM.
i.e., “Naaasatya” = “Na+Asatya” i.e., the learned who always speaks truth, “Yuvabhyam” by you, “Ima” these “Brahmanni Richyante” the preach of Vedas be so, “Varam Vasishtam” the best/supreme holy Yajna, “Upa
Prayatam” pay us visit to make the Yajna graceful. So the idea of the mantra is that the aspirants respectfully request the learned Acharya to invite in
holy Yajya to make the same graceful wherein the Acharya will give the knowledge of pious deeds, matters (science) and worship from four Vedas.
That is why, Vedas say either aspirants must go to the place where the learned Acharya of Vedas and Yoga philosophy resides to organize the above said holy Yajna or aspirant must respectfully invite their Acharya being the most religious duty to attain the final goal of life.
The meaning of Yajya is Dev Pooja, Sangatikaran, Daan and the whole mantras of Vedas becomes actually adorable while performing Havan and
listening the meaning, idea of mantra in preach by a learned Acharya and the said process only enables the human beings to be learned of Vedas, because the Acharya will give the knowledge of each mantra from time to time in which deeds, science and worship including Ashtang Yoga philosophy are preached and learnt. So yajya is not merely a task to offer aahutis in burning fire.
The same truth is said in Atharvaveda mantra 19/43/1
YATR BRAHAMVIDO YANTI DIKSHYA TAPSA SAH.
AGNIRMA TATR NAYATVAGNIRMEDHA DADHATU ME AGNEYA SWAHA.
i.e., an aspirant prays to God that “Yatr” the place “Brahma Vidaha” the knower of Shabda Brahma (Vedas) and Par Brahma (realization of God), “Yanti” reach i.e., the stage of merriment of realization of God by adopting “Deekshya” the hard rules of true path, “Tapsa saho” along with Tapasya i.e., study of Vedas adopting Brahmacharya, control over senses, perceptions and mind and practicing Ashtang Yoga philosophy. “Maa Nayatu” O God! take me there to learn the path from learned to attain the same stage. This preach has beautifully been said by Yask Muni in Shatpath Brahmin Granth (14/4/2/30). The Granth says that the soul desired to have a wife, children and to get sufficient money to perform holy Yajna. The idea of Rishi is that the human body, family and money/assets are wanted only to perform Yajya. Let us check our selves that mostly we are ignoring the preach of Vedas and ancient Rishis in the matter of gaining knowledge of four Vedas and Yoga philosophy by adorable dignitary i.e., learned Acharya in holy Yajna.
Rishi Yaska further says in the same Granth that when a person is capable to have the above family assets etc. Then he must not desire any more but due to attraction of human being towards the materialistic articles of the world. The desires have been unlimited whereas life is short so it is seen that life ends but not desires and the same is the reason for unhappy, ill full, tension full and problem full life.
It is very sad that against the preach of God in Vedas mostly the people are listening the person who holds Satsang and tell in their Satsang the matters in the shape of stories etc., which do not tally with Vedas. So now a day preaches are in number of places but peace, unity, brotherhood, respect to elders, parents and women etc., do not exist. Even corruption, falsehood, blind faith, tension, violence, unnecessary war at world level, ravages of hatred are increasing day by day. Unbelievable diseases are increasing. In Satyug, Treta, Dwapar same were not seen in the earth due to the reason that people used to listen Vedas, perform holy Yajnas and practice yoga philosophy then.

Today’s Preach of Rigveda Mantra by His Holiness Swami Ram Swarup ji, Yogacharya
This is very clear that one knows himself accurately and when he gives his bio-data to others then the other person is able to understand him. When you go to a new place to meet a new person then he will naturally ask your name and obviously when you will tell him the name then only will he be able to know. Rightly this fact is mentioned in Rigveda mantra 9/66/12.
“Achcha Samudramindavoastam Gavo Na Dhenvaha, Agmanritasya Yonima”
The idea of the mantra is that all Ved mantras emanate from God, i.e., the mantras (knowledge) remain within God. That is why in Vedas God is also named “Brahma Kritaha=Brahma + Kritaha”. Brahma means God, Kritaha means “who generates Ved mantras”. Rigveda mantra 7/97/2 also tells His name as “Brihaspatihi”. “Brahma Vayee Brahspatihi”. Here the name of Brahma(God) is Brihaspati. (Yask Muni’s Shatpath Brahmin Granth no “Brihad” means supreme Vedas and “Pati” means master i.e., God the master-originator of knowledge of four Vedas in the shape of mantras. God
is eternal, omnipresent, immortal etc. so are the qualities of Vedas which emanates from him.
So, He is only God who tells His qualities, supreme deeds, powers and knowledge etc. in Vedas only. So anyone who desires to know about God
and to worship/pray Him etc., he first listen Vedas wherein God makes the aspirant understand to know all about God by virtue of Ved mantras. The knowledge of mantras at this stage will be briefed to aspirant by alive Brahma (Acharya who knows four Vedas) and this fact is stated in Rigveda mantra 7/70/6 as quoted in the above preach dated 15th May, 2006. The said mantra says that “Krita Brahma” i.e. knower of Vedas preaches
in Yajna. This tradition is eternal. Vyas Muni through Bhishma Pitamaha too say the correct path to realize God that first Shabde Brahma is to be studied by learned Acharya then by doing the above worship etc., the God is realised. So we must know the importance of views of ancient Rishis also on the eternal knowledge of Vedas.”
Samveda mantra 744 state that an aspirant worships the God who is being worshipped traditionally by the ancient and present Rishi eternally also stated in Samveda mantra 744.which states “Yaam Te Poorvam Pita Huve”
that an aspirant worships the God who is being worshipped traditionally by the ancient and present Rishi eternally.
Now please see the above quoted Rigveda mantra 9/66/12 “Dhenvo Na” Just like the voice of Vedas “Astam” the place “Samudram” from where the words are produced “Aachch” Pure God “Aagaman” are well-received.

Meaning-i.e., just like the Ved mantras i.e., the voice of Vedas are received by God (because the Vedas are produced by God and when an aspirant-Rishi-Muni etc., utters or does holy Yajna with Ved mantras, naturally in Ved mantras the praise of God and worship is done. The sense of Ved mantra
is that all these voices of Ved mantras duly chanted by above aspirants are received-accepted by God. A person gives the measurement of his body to get his shirt stitched, when he will take off his shirt to take bath and after bath when he will put on the same then it will be accepted by his body being his own. Similarly, the Ved mantras emanates from God and when are recited in holy Yajna or for study to pray, worship etc., to God, God accepts the same being His own. All these Ved mantras “Indvaha” enlighten, “Gavaha” the senses and mind of aspirant and Chitti vritti (i.e. faculty which receives knowledge from five senses and passes the same to intellect is called Chitta and Chitta stores the effect of various karmas to be faced by soul in future at a proper time) too go to “Ritasya Yonim” God and
God accepts. “Ritasya” of truth “Yonim” from where Ved mantras emanate i.e., God.
Therefore, the idea is that Ved mantras emanate from God and God directs in all Vedas to listen Vedas from Acharya, to do Yajya, to learn preach in Vedas, about pious deeds, worship to practice Ashtang Yoga and praise of God in holy Yajna with Ved mantras etc., to know all subjects of universe from Vedas, to be a complete learned to attain Arth (finance), Dharam (pious deeds), Kaam (pious desires), Moksha (final liberation).

There is a huge preach of a number of preachers all around about the listening of holy Granths like Ramayana, Bhagwad Geeta etc., because the
said preach is at top now a days through televisions, newspapers, organization of satsang etc. therefore the people have now become habitual to listen the same. But it is seen in the holy books that they guide to listen Vedas therein and the knowledge which has been placed in the holy books has been taken from the Vedas. Now only one reason is left not to be a learned of Vedas among the people, which is that spreading of knowledge by learned Acharya of Vedas at large scale is failed since about 5,000 years after Mahabharat and now the people have become habitual only to listen other holy Granths and to follow paths other than Vedas and not eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God.
Yet there is a point also to be kept in mind that Rigveda mantra 1/164/39 states that until one God (Creator of universe) is not known even by Shabda
Brahma (Vedas). Then mere study of Vedas will be of no use. Then here the question arises that is mere listening of Geeta, story of Ramayana and other
stories or self-made stories, useful to public when mere study of God given knowledge of Vedas, not proving useful?
Tulsi Ramayana says about Sri Ram:
“Ved Puraan Vasishth Bakhanaahin, Sunhu Ram”

i.e., Sri Ram listened Vedas through out life from his learned Acharya of Vedas- Vasishth Muni Ji.

So, mere listening of these Chowpayees will do nothing until we start to listen Vedas sitting before a learned Acharya like Vasishth Muni and present
saints must highlight the chow payee to listener to inspire them to go to a learned Acharya of Vedas as per the order of God in Vedas. Kindly see the other Chowpayee about Sri Ram-
“Kotinh Vajmedh Prabhu Kenhe”
i.e., Sri Ram did thousands of holy Yajna with Ved mantras and in Valmiki Ramayana, Balkand Sarg (1), Valmiki says that Sri Ram learnt all Vedas did
practice of Ashtang Yoga and thus was a perfect Yogi.
Sri Ram gave donation to the Rishi Munis, so the preachers of Ramayana must preach the public to listen Vedas, to perform holy Yajna and to donate to only Rishi Munis as done by Sri Ram. Please see other Chowpayee: “Prataha Kaal Uth kayee Raghunatha ..
Mat Pita Guru Nevayee Matha”
i.e., Sri Ram used to bow to do namaste before mother, father and Acharya etc. So everybody must do the same pious deeds. Please see next couplet –
“Yog Agni Kari Pragat,
Tab karm Subhasubh Layee”
i.e., when a Yogi like Sri Ram, Sri Krishna and Rishi-Munis learn Vedas, perform holy Yajna and practice Ashtang Yoga then all his good and bad deeds are burnt and he gets final liberation.
I am trying to write about the extract of such chowpayee based on Vedas in near future.
So the preacher of Ramayana must inspire public to learn Vedas and do Ashtang Yoga practice, to realize God because the listening and learning of such Chow payees and Dohas only again and again will do nothing until are followed practically in one’s life as Sri Ram, Sri Krishna and Rishi-Munis
did and you see these orders are given by God himself in Vedas to be obeyed as stated above in this preach.
In 2nd page of Tulsi Ramayana,it is mentioned by Tulsi Das ji –
“Nana Puraan Nigam Agam Samatam Yad Ramayane
Nigaditam Kvachidanyatoapi,
Swantaha Sukhaye”

i.e., he (Tulsi Das ji) learnt Puraan i.e., old stories of Mahabharata, Shastras and studied Vedas, thereafter only, he wrote Ramayana (Swaantene Sukhaya)
i.e., for his own satisfaction . So may I advise all preachers of Tulsi Ramayana that they must first study four Vedas, must perform holy Yajna like Sri Ram, Rishi-Munis, must practice Ashtang Yoga mentioned in Vedas and thereafter only must study Tulsi/Ramayana like Tulsi Das ji and must spread its knowledge. This will be the best tradition adopted by learned Sri
Tulsi Das ji. As Tulsi Das ji did the same. Therefore all present preachers must follow preach of Tulsi Das ji to study Vedas. Actually, our holy Granth like Ramayana is full of preach of four Vedas but due to our bad luck most of the preachers do not spread the knowledge of Vedas from Ramayana.

Today’s Preach on Rigveda Mantra by His Holiness, Swami Ram Swarup ji, Yogacharya.
As was in the ancient times, right from the beginning of the earth, now a day too, the preachers are telling that the reason to be unhappy, full of tension, diseased, unpeaceful or full of problems at world’s level even is not to
remember/worship the God. Yes, the reason is true. However, there is only a difference in saying the said reason. That until Mahabharata war i.e., about 5,300 years ago, the reason was based on the study of eternal knowledge of Vedas which is complete in knowledge and now a days mostly the people have forgotten the Vedas due to the lack of preach thereof and therefore the reason is being told based on present holy books like Bhagwad Geeta, Upanishad and Ramayana etc. as already explained in the above preach that knowledge is attained when somebody gives. So, it must be remembered that God has already given the knowledge in the shape of four Vedas therefore, based on the said formula, as also said by Manusmriti in Shlok 2/6 and Bhagwad Geeta shlok 3/15 (briefed above), the knowledge in the following holy Granths like Bhagwad Geeta, Ramayana etc. has been taken only from Vedas. Tulsi Das ji has already stated on the 2nd page of his Ramayana in Sanskrit language that he studied Vedas before writing Ramayana. For example Tulsi Ramayana says:

“Rakapati Shodhas Uahin Taragan Samudai,
Sakal Girinha Dav Layeea, Binu Rabi Raati Na Jayee”.
The idea of chowpayee is that though there is one moon in the sky but if 16 moons are shining in the sky with all stars and all mountains are put on fire. Yet, all the light contributed by 16 moons, shining stars and burning mountains will always be unable to remove the whole darkness of the night. The darkness of the night will only be removed by the rising Sun.
It means there is no alternative of God’s created Sun to remove the darkness of night. Tulsi further states – so is the case of human life that without doing the eternal worship of God, the sorrows/ problems of human life can never be ended.

When such verses (chowpayees) are sung with music etc., the same is liked very much, which has become a new tradition too and there must not be any objection for the said new tradition. Yet we must never forget the eternal tradition, i.e., the source from where Tulsi has taken his views, which have been mentioned in his above chowpayee. Though there are so many Ved mantras on the subject but kindly see Rigveda mantra 10/1/1.

“Agre Brihannushsa Moordhvo Ashannir
Jagan Vaantmaso Jyotishagaat,
Agnirbhanuna Rushta Swanga Aa Jaata
Vishwa Sadmanyapraha”.

(Brihan-Agnihi) the ball of great fire i.e., Sun, (Urdhvaha Asthata) rises up in the sky (Ushaam Agre) after the dawn (early morning) of each day. The rising Sun(Tamsaha Nirjaganvaan) emanating from the darkness of the night (Jyotisha Aagaat) produces itself due to its own light. (Rushta Bhanuna Swangaha Aajaataha).

Thus, duly completed in respect of all parts of its body with the signs of burning and heating in the shape of light, produces itself before the world. (Vishwa Sadmani Apraha) with the result, the Sun fulfills all the places and lokas (cosmological regions) of the universe with its light.
Similarly, a learned of Vedas, the Acharya with his wisdom of Vedas fulfills the mind of aspirants with complete knowledge.

Idea is clear, the darkness of the universe of the night is only removed by the Sunlight and the illusion of the people by an Acharya who is learned of Vedas, when he showers knowledge of Ved mantras on the aspirant, the latter takes bath in Ved mantras. It will be comparable to beautiful happening when in rainy – seasons, children happily take bath under showers of rain.

Tulsi Das ji based on the above quoted fundamental law of gaining knowledge has written above chowpayees as well as other couplets and chowpayees of his Ramayana taking knowledge from Vedas, Shastras etc. and lovely true stories of Sri Ram and Sita from holy book of Valmiki Ramayana. It is very clear that all the ancient learned Rishi-Munis first studied Vedas and with the result then wrote Shastras, Upanishads, Mahabharata, Bhagwad Geeta, Shatpath Brahmin Granth, Nighantu,
Valmiki Ramayana, Tulsi Ramayana etc.
Question arises from where the present saints got the knowledge, keeping in mind the above fundamental law of gaining knowledge. The answer is very clear that the saints of now a days like Tulsi Das, SurDas, Kabir, Sahib,Mira bai, etc. etc. had been studying/listening preach not from Vedas in full but
from Shastras, Upanishad, Ramayana, Geeta etc. etc. And the present saints are following them. We must be really afraid that in this process, the eternal
knowledge of Vedas, whose eternal/immortal Guru has been always God Himself as per so many Ved mantras like Yajurveda Mantra 31/7 and Yog Shastra sutra 1/24, might be forgotten/ignored, intentionally or unintentionally. With such happening, the complete knowledge of universe, which is kept only in Vedas, will be over and will be a great harm for all human beings/Universe.

Let us now arrive on the subject started on the point of sorrows which occur when people forget Almighty God. In Gaytri mantra, the meaning of
“Bhuvaha” is that God is the destroyer of sorrows of the worshipper.

Tulsi has said in his above chowpayee that sorrows are due to lack of true worship of God giving example of rising sun which removes darkness of night.

Kindly see the second example of Bhagwad Geeta chapter 4 of Bhagwad Geeta shloka-32 state that in Vedas so many Yajyas (pious karmas) have been mentioned and when an aspirant blessed with human body discharges his duties according to the Vedas, he overcomes all the illusion/sorrows of the world and gets salvation.

Idea of Bhagwad Geeta is very clear that without worship of God, the sorrows never end. However, further clearance of the idea is this that the idea of worship to kill sorrows has been taken from Vedas by Sri Krishna. On the same subject Rigveda Mantra 9/70/8 and 9 state that when people worship God, then they burn their sins and the sorrows/mishappening etc.
before experiencing the same i.e., the sins and sorrows etc. are not to be faced being burnt by virtue of worship of God.

The conclusion is that real worship of God ends the sins/sorrows and provides salvation. Salvation means provides the worshipper with Arth, Dharma, Kaam and Moksha but the eternal/traditional worship is in
four Vedas. People must return back to the knowledge of Vedas.

Today’s Preach on Rigveda Mantra by His Holiness, Swami Ram Swarup ji, Yogacharya

Rigveda mantra 6/28/4 says that the spiritual knowledge is not attained by those, who are immersed in illusion, backbiting, fraud and bad society. So one must take only pious, vegetarian food and must have control on senses, perceptions and mind and must accompany good society of learned of Vedas to listen preach.
Question naturally arises that how a soul who is pure by nature but illusion can be destroyed, (illusion = Avidya which is described in Yog shastra sutra 2/4 and 5 due to the effect of which person is involved in Kaam , Krodh , Madh , Lobh , Ahankar etc., due to the effect of Raj, Tam and Satva qualities of Prakriti by which the human body is made, being over him like black clouds over rising Sun cover sunlight). Removal of illusion is called purification of soul. Without realization of God purification of mind and body is not possible.
So how a person becomes purified? Like Rigveda mantras 8/19/8 and 11, the mantras of all the Vedas state that Yajya purifies the atmosphere. The body is purified by taking bath regularly and putting on clean clothes. But how internal purification of mind, chitta etc. is done? Yajurveda mantra 7/1 states that when an aspirant goes to a learned Acharya to learn knowledge of Vedas, yoga and when he serves his Acharya then he attains purification internally. Mantra is “Vachespatye Pavasva” i.e., “Vachaha + Patye” = to know master of Vedas i.e., God. “Pavasva” purification i.e., O Aspirant! To realize God you must try your level best to be purified. Yajurveda mantra further states as to how an aspirant is purified. “Yesham Bhagaha Asi” learned Acharya in whose service you are, “Devbhyaha Pavasva” remain with the learned Acharya
for purification.
Idea of the mantra is that to know the God, from whom the knowledge of four Vedas emanates, the aspirant must always be in contact with learned
Acharyas of Vedas/Yoga philosophy and aspirant’s services will satisfy the Acharyas and the Acharyas will start giving knowledge of Vedas/yoga philosophy to the aspirant, with the result he (aspirant) will be purified.
In this way, as mentioned in Rigveda Mantra 9/24/1 the aspirant while gaining knowledge of Vedas will be repeatedly considering the eternal qualities of God’s name, study Vedas, will do Yajna and practice of Yoga philosophy and will sure be purified by means of body, mind, voice/speech etc. He will definitely follow the path of Brahamcharya. While discharging all
duties of family life (A book on Brahamcharya is being written and will be ready to be dispatched to desired persons within one and a half months).
In so many Mantras like Rigveda Mantra 9/9/9, the God is stated to be “Pavmaan” i.e. pure. So when we really worship God, as stated above, we too become pure.
Therefore, Rigveda Mantra 1/122/6 states “Sushrotuhu Mein Ima Hawaa Shrutam” i.e. the human being always listen the preach of Vedas from a learned Acharya for purification. His idea of Rigveda Mantra 1/4/3&4 is
very clear that when an aspirant remains in contact with learned, religious Acharya, he overcomes the illusion and his mind is totally purified. Therefore
the mantra 4 says the people must always go to such Acharyas to attain knowledge of Vedas/yoga. Mantra says that in case of doubt, the aspirant must (prichh) put forth questions before the Acharya to clear the doubts. Hence, the mantra further say that the so called Gurus who are against the Vedas must always be ignored because there is always a difference between
learned Acharya and ignorant (full of illusion).
Acharya as is also said in Manusmriti shlok 2/168, which says
“Yoandheetya Dwijo Vedamanyatra Kurute Shramam,
Sa Jeevannev Shudratvamashu Gachchati Sanvayaha”.

that the gurus who are not learned of Vedas/holy Granths which preach about salvation but they do labour/hard work against the path of eternal knowledge of Vedas, such gurus with their followers and tribes attain “Tiryak Yoni” i.e., the Yoni of animals/birds etc. That is why Rigveda mantra 1/10/4 states when a person listens from a learned Acharya, the knowledge of Ved mantras with its meaning and idea and he then accepts and preaches the same, then the Almighty God showers his blessings and the aspirant becomes able to understand the meaning and idea of the Ved mantras and
attains merriment. So the listening/study of Vedas automatically makes aspirant to realize God and attain final peace-final liberation.

Conclusion:-
Without realization of God, no happiness/merriment etc. Without attaining the knowledge of Vedas, no realization of God, thus no peace. And without a learned Acharya of Vedas and Yoga philosophy, no knowledge of four Vedas. So learned Acharya is must. Service of learned Acharya and knowledge given by him in return makes aspirant able to attain Arth (finance), Dharam (pious deeds), Kaam(pious desires), Moksh (final liberation).
In the absence of learned Acharya, it is not possible that knowledge can be gained by anyone. This truth has also been stated by Kapil Muni in his Samkhya Shastra Sutra 4/2-
“Pishachvat Anyaarthopdeshe Api”
Meaning- (Pishachvat) like a devil (Anyaarthopdeshe) preach to others (Api) also i.e., if anyone is being preached the knowledge of Vedas etc., and in this way if another person is also listening though he is a devil then, the devil will be benefited and he (devil) will be able to gain knowledge too.
In this connection Samkhya Muni narrates a story-
Once upon a time a Rishi brought his disciple to a lonely place of a jungle to preach him. Both the Rishi and disciple use to live in the jungle and the Rishi used to give the preach to his disciple daily. One devil discreetly also used to listen the preach of the Rishi, the devil followed the preach in life and later
on he too became a learned person. The story concludes that the education pertaining to spiritualism can be attained from anyone who is a complete Rishi i.e., learned of Vedas and Yoga philosophy.
