According to Vedas, is it ethical for a person to speak lie given special circumstances like a person being a spy, if yes then what are those circumstances?
Swami Ram Swarup: The place/earth where the people reside/spend their lives, under the control of a government that portion of land is called country. If to tell lie establishes truth and benefits nation then nothing bad to tell lie as was done by Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj in Mahabharat war.
