M: I have killed many million ants. What I do to get rid of this habit? Please tell me.
Swami Ram Swarup: There is only one way to repent, that first the individual should leave the violence forever and secondly, he should learn to perform daily hawan from ved mantras. To learn the Vedas and hawan one should make contact with learned acharya as early as possible. You may also make contact with local Arya Samaj Mandir for the same.
Sonali: Is uses of pen or studying is prohibited on the day of Gobardhan puja? Is there some logic here? Or it is false statement?
Swami Ram Swarup: No, please. No deed concerning pious deeds is prohibited on any day because everyday time etc., has been created by the purest Almighty God. So naturally the days, time etc., are the purest matter for all the human-beings.
Idea of Rigved mantra 10/135/1,2, 3, 4
Rigveda mantra 10/135/1,2, 3 we’ve been blessed with the human body to face the result of our previous lives’ deeds – good and bad, in the shape of happiness and sorrows. When we’ve to face bad deeds then naturally everybody says that it is our bad luck but mostly people do not think that God has done justice and the sorrows/problems given by God is the result of our said deeds. Further, the ved mantra 4 state that if a person makes contact with learned acharya of Vedas and yoga philosophy and becomes able to gain knowledge of Vedas and obey preach of Vedas then the effect of bad deeds is automatically destroyed and future becomes bright. Secondly, God helps those who help themselves. So, hardworking, devotion and dedication also makes future bright.
Yajurveda mantra 7/48 that the soul in human body does good or bad deeds but almighty God does justice and gives result thereof in the shape of happiness and sorrows. He never excuses the culprit. Hence, we must never blame God in any problem or sorrows but must seek knowledge to stop doing sins and follow Vedic path as stated above.
