Rajan: Namaste swami ji… I hav heard that naga babas spent most of their time in samadhi and according to u “At the stage of samadhi, Almighty God becomes present within yogi. Samveda mantra 944 states that at the stage of the Asamprgyat samadhi within the yogi, the preach of Vedas which flows from the mouth of Yogi is inspired by God Himself. So my question is that if they realise God then why do they believe in kumb mela etc as it is also like an idol worship? After reaching at that level of consciousness, still they believe in idol worship, smoke, etc and this clearly shows dat they are still ignorant. What are your views?
Swami Ram Swarup: Namasteji. Sorry, I do not know about naga baba. As regards Samadhi, it is obtained by following eternal Vedic path and hard practice of Ashtang Yog philosophy mentioned therein under guidance of learned Acharya of Vedas and yog philosophy. Such Yogi only worships Formless God.
Deepak: Swamiji. Charan Sparsh. I have a temple at home. I am living in a joint family. I sit near the temple and do havan. Is it ok? Can I use itra before puja? Does it help?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. You may continue your havan daily. However, itra, perfume is not necessary.
