R: Hello. My husband spends all the money which he earns on his sister and her son. So we r left with very less money. He spends the money on them even when he has a shortage of money. His sister also asks for many things from her. I have a daughter. I have tried to make him realize to save the money for future , but he says that why to save the money . He says that he will spent the entire money for his relationships, even if there is less left for his wife and for his own daughter. Now my question is am I wrong if I say him to stop spending over them and save something for our daughter and for me?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. My daughter, you are not wrong. Atharvaved states that parents when have performed the marriage of daughter and have done kanyadaan (donation of daughter) then no responsibility remains on the part of parents. Now, entire responsibilities of daughter devolve upon her husband. Your husband, now, must make contact with local Arya Samaj where he would find a learned acharya of Vedas. Acharya will preach him about subject. Because your husband is going against Almighty God from whom the knowledge of Vedas emanates and in Vedas, God Himself preaches. It is clear from all the learneds, Vedas and shastras that Vedas are self-proof. So, to do the deeds according to Vedas is pious deed and deed done against Vedas is a sin.

Rishabh: Swami JI Namastey… I believe that there is a lot of difference between true love and attraction to a woman? What is the reason that one person fall in love with a woman? Is it due to any relation of them in previous birth? Because when I was in school class I prayed to GOD with true heart that tomorrow I want to talk to that girl whom I love and GOD Helped me really? Next day it happened and i had short conversation with ( before that i never had any conversation) with her in a year). that means GOD was agree with me at that time for my true love? I never had any bad thinking about that girl but it was just the pure love and just wanted to be with her? So please tell me what happened with me that time? How god granted my pray? Is there any connection with my previous birth works? THANKS 🙂
Swami Ram Swarup: Namasteji. Yes, you are right. True love is based on equal heart combined and soul to soul whereas attraction is based on physical charm only. You see, one day physical charm will be destroyed. So love based on physical charm will also vanish away, whereas soul is immortal. So, love based on souls will forever remain. Mostly, the reason to fall in love with opposite sex is due to physical charm and lack of Vedic knowledge which tells to maintain Brahmacharya till marriage.
God never helps to talk with opposite sex. It is men’s own creation and such events happen occasionally by chance, because God has preached in Vedas that before marriage one should not give heart to opposite sex.
