Anonymous: Swamiji sexual act is considered one of the most pleasurable moments. It is very natural. But the vedas say to practice brahmacharya both for males and females, in normal life and also in marriage. Two opposite gender are attracted to each other and even if males and females live in jungle without any knowledge than also they will indulge in sexual act, as it is normal. Also why when god commands to practice celibacy than the sexual indulgence is so luring . It always attracts and individual wants to repeat it . Why do we have exciting vibrations, why is our body made like this. Is it not a contradiction
Swami Ram Swarup: Due to the lack of knowledge of Vedas, shastras and holy books written by Rishi-munis, ordinary persons may consider the sexual act as one of the most pleasurable moments. Any one’s view if gets tallied with vedas or shastras, then it is considered as true, otherwise false and you see, it is only a fundamental procedure to reach at truth. Vedas are always considered as self-proof. Based on the experience of ancient and present Rishi-munis, brahamcharya has been stated to be priceless gem, following which a person enjoys a long, healthy, happy life. Sexual act is allowed only in family life to only get learned progeny. It is not stated to be a baseless source of sensual activity.
When a person is indulged in baseless, sexual act, to enjoy it, he experiences lot of problems, tensions, diseases and short life-span. Whereas, a person who maintains proper brahamcharya (celibacy) at least, till the age of twenty-five years and thereafter he enters family life and maintains proper brahamcharya therein according to vedas, he only enjoys a peaceful, long, happy, disease free life and may even attain salvation. I would advise you to read my book- “Brahamcharya – Dukh Nivarak Divya Manni” (in Hindi) . Actuallly a person who lacks vedas’ knowledge, does not know about the comparison between pleasure that is generated by observing brahamcharya and other sinful pleasure which one seeks by not maintaining brahamcharya during childhood, young age and family life.
You see, why do we praise Bheeshma Pitamah, Sri Ram, Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj, Arjun, Mata Sita, Katyayini, Madalsa etc., due to the reason that they all maintained brahamcharya in family life.
God does not command us to practice celibacy. God only preaches in vedas to observe the same, explaining its unlimited benefits and harm to those who do not adopt celibacy. As stated in Yajurveda mantra 7/48, we all are free to do good or bad deeds but result is awarded by Almighty God in the shape of pleasure and sorrows respectively. Without brahamchharya , it is not possible, which is also been observed at present , to study Vedas and even to study the books of normal syllabi of school, colleges, universities etc., and nobody can be free from any disease.

Good qualities for marriage
For marriage, birth kundli match is not necessary because such procedure has not been mentioned in vedas, shastras, Bhagwad Geeta, Valmiki Ramayan etc. Vedas state that marriage should be performed based on good qualities of both sides. For example- Boy must be earning well to support his wife and wife must know the way of creating and maintaining good atmosphere of family.
