Anil: Dear Swamiji, Charansparsh, In one of your answers your have said There are two means of ling. One is noun and second is sex. Can you please elaborate, what you mean by noun & sex.
Swami Ram Swarup: Noun is used for proper/common names, etc. For example, Ram, Krishna, Bimla, etc. are proper noun. Tree, cities, rivers, etc. are common noun and so on. Proper nouns (also called proper names) are nouns representing unique entities (such as London, Jupiter or Johnny), as distinguished from common nouns which describe a class of entities (such as city, planet or person). Proper nouns are not normally preceded by an article or other limiting modifier (such as “any” or “some”), and are used to denote a particular person, place, or thing without regard to any descriptive meaning the word or phrase may have. In English and most other languages that use the Latin alphabet, proper nouns are usually capitalized. So, Shiva is a proper noun please.
There are three genders please. Masculine (male), Feminine (females) and Neuter (for non-living/not belonging to either gender).

Jatin: Namaste, I have a question regarding Dakshinmukhi Ganeshji. My sister has presented us with a Dashinmukhi Ganeshji’s photo. She had given us one about 4 years ago also. My wife is very uncomfortable with keeping the photos of Dakshinmukhi Ganesh ji in the house. My sister says it is not an idol, so there are no restrictions. Please advise.
Swami Ram Swarup: Worship of Dakshinmukhi Ganeshji is not mentioned in Vedas please. Vedas, the eternal knowledge, which emanates direct from God at the time of every creation, tells about worship of formless God only. However, if anybody has faith on above said Ganesh Bhakti, he can go ahead at his own accord.
