M: My daughter was married recently to a boy from USA. Horoscopes matched, family is very good, groom to was very good. Now barely three months into the marriage, because of his financial stress, my son-in-law has become an angry, hot tempered person. How do we tackle the situation?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. It is a sad news that based on the financial aspects, your son-in-law has started misbehaving with your daughter however, try to tackle the problem by arranging meetings of elders of both sides to settle the matter as early as possible. She should always remain with her husband and every time she must be in loving nature with her husband. God will help her and everything will be normal. She should also chant Gayatri mantra along with its meaning both times, name jaap of God – OM should also be chanted. Also, please try to perform daily hawan with Gayatri mantra which shall reap very good results. As regards, matching of horoscopes, I also paste one of my articles in this regard.

Vedas have science like electronics, electricity, agriculture, about earth i.e., what is within earth, etc., but not horoscope. All the science which is in vogue at present is already mentioned in Vedas.

Swami Ram Swarup: After completing the education, mostly the students have to wander to seek suitable jobs. So, you must not be nervous, please try hard to seek the suitable job and you will get it. Daily hawan and chanting of mantras to get the blessings of God should be done. As regards marriage it will be better if it is arranged marriage. Your parents must try hard to seek a suitable match for you. All family members must do daily hawan with Gayatri mantra and in the end must pray to God to fulfill the desire. God listens in hawan/Yajyen.

Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. As per eternal knowledge of the Vedas which emanates direct from God, Vedas are called “self-proof”. Samadhi means realisation of God which has eight parts i.e., Yam, Niyam, Asan, Pranayam, Pratyahar, Dharnna, Dhyan, Samadhi. The person who has attained Samadhi means he has overcome all worldly illusion which is created by rajo, tamo and satto gunn of prakriti and such yogi realises Almighty God within their heart. All their deeds of previous lives- whether good or bad are burnt and such yogi never tells lies. In this category Sri Ram, Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj, Vyas Muniji, Guru Vasishth i.e., several Rajrishis and Rishis got the Samadhi by following eternal Vedic path only and world knows their character and knowledge very well. Samadhi gives eight siddhis i.e., Anima, Garima, Mahima, Laghuma, Ishisht, Vishishth, Prakamya, Prapti. So qualities of said siddhis are divine.
The regular contact with learned acharya of Vedas and Yoga Philosophy , name jaap of God , daily hawan/Yajyen and hard practice of Ashtang Yoga Philosophy by which the five senses, five perceptions and mind are controlled enable an aspirant to realise God and to attain above quoted eight siddhis . So, the said regular hard practice of the worship of God is required to attain siddhis. So, please note without doing such practice and controlling five senses, five perceptions, mind and intellect, nothing can be achieved.
Ankit Sindhwani: Just tell me the name of father and mother of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv.
Swami Ram Swarup: In the authentic holy books i.e., Valmiki Ramayan and Mahabharat epic, six shastras and eleven upnishads, there is no mention about the names of father and mother of Brahma , Vishnu and Shiv. Secondly, when they were not born, I mean to say before their birth, the worship of God still continued since the beginning of the earth. At that time, present sects did not exist. Only, the knowledge of Vedas was in vogue. In Vedas, there is no existence of proper noun except Almighty God and four Rishis i.e., Agni, Vayu, Angira, Aditya. It means to destroy the sin and to realise the God, remembrance of the history or names etc., is not necessary. However, to maintain the culture if any person remembers such names then there is no harm. But spiritualism is not affected. As regards, the name of parents of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv to be known by me, kindly excuse me. Yajurveda mantra 40/15 states “Om Krato Smar” that at the time of death, Oh Aspirant! Only remember the name of Almighty formless God, who creates, nurses and destroys the universe.
Anshul Goel: Namaskar swamiji, what is bad luck and bad time? Is it due to our past sins?How to cope up with this according to God and Vedas?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Bad luck as well as bad time is the result of our bad deeds of previous lives. However, real, eternal worship destroys the bad deeds of our previous as well as present lives and such aspirants do not face bad luck as well as bad time. That is why, the worship is necessary. I also paste here my article on Shubh Din and Shubh karma for your knowledge.
Shubh Din
All the days, week, month, years, minutes, seconds have been created by God and thus are always pious. Regarding the philosophy of deeds, Vedas tell that we have come here to face the previous lives’ deeds (good or bad) according to Rigveda mantra 10/135/1,2 and we have to face the said deeds in the shape of pleasure and pain respectively. So, the days are not concerned with auspiciousness or bad omens. If we do pious deeds today then one day we will enjoy pleasure and if we do bad deeds then in the future on any day we will have to face sorrows awarded by God. So, the day becomes full of pleasure or full of sorrows when we face our deeds as said above. So days are never good or bad but always pious and gifted. So days are never good or bad, but always pious and gifted to us by God to always do pious deeds to enjoy life.
Also the days, nights and times are never ashubh (unfortunate) being created by the purest God. only deeds done by us are bad or good. And based on the previous lives’ deeds we have to face the result thereof accordingly on one particular day and time. So days are not good or bad. It is our own deeds done by us which are bad or good.
So one can enter at one’s own convenience or suitability in his newly constructed house, shop etc., or start any pious work at any time. However, one should perform havan with Ved mantras before ensuing any of those works. It does not depends on any name and date of birth etc. because it is not mentioned in Vedas. We must be always away from blind faith.
Shubh Karma
Hard working, devotion, dedication, honesty, services to the parents and elders to follow eternal religion mentioned in Vedas, practice of Ashtang Yoga, discharging moral duties to get progress in education, science simultaneously with spiritualism like, daily havan, to be in contact with the learned Acharya, to get his advice, are some of the pious deeds which make the future bright and obliterate the sorrows, problems, diseases, etc.
One must wake up early in the morning for early morning walk and exercises, must sit on meditation and chant holy name of God, must be away from any addiction and non-veg. Such pious actions lead to long, happy life and bright future.
