Swami Ram Swarup: Thanking you please. The books are available on Vedas. You may please send your home address/convenient local address where the books can be sent on the receipt of the postal address the books will be sent from here immediately. Money is no problem please. Because I always pray God that eternal knowledge of the Vedas is spread to overcome the illusion/blind faith.

Niermala: Thank you so much for answering my questions. First: about my question about you being equivalent to God. Your answer: you stated about a donkey load on his back with all holy books. Does this make him wise or equivalent to god? What I meant was that Ram and Krishna did studied 4 Vedas under guidance and blessings of their guru, got yoga education and did also hard Ashtang Yoga practice, just like you. You have said that is the reason why people see/realize them (Ram and Krishna) as God. I have more question:
a) Please advise about the rituals at the time of death started on the very first day when death occurs. Please quote the Ved mantra. What kind of rituals do we have to perform and is it true that food must not cooked in house until?
b) You have stated that a yogi (even everybody) can decide his long age if he follows the pure Vedic path which also included hard ractice of Ashtang Yoga. But in case of Shri Ramji, he did not. Ram died at the age of 81. Why did he not decide long age. What about in Satyug? Did they (rishi munis) lived tot max of 400 years?
c) Does the Vedas allow us to wear jewelry (gold)?
d) What happens with people who insult the Vedas? Because nowadays nobody believes in the Vedas.
e) Non-vegetarian food is prohibited as per Vedas, shastras, Upnishads ect. But still people take non-vegetarian food and do the holy Yajyen and after the Yajyen they drink liquor to. what will happen with these people?
f). For the past 34 years I see in my dreams about myself that I am flying. I feel very related to birds. What does this mean please.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. My dear daughter Niermala you are right that Sri Ram and Sri Krishna were equivalent to God. But they never described themselves God.

(a). One should perform agnihotra on the very first day when death occurs. The first very day i.e., after death holy Yajyen from Ved mantras must be performed. If Purohit or any other learned acharya is not available then the havan must be performed even with Gayatri mantra. Twenty-one minimum aahutis of Gayatri mantra must be offered and if time permits then the aahutis may be increased accordingly. It will be a worship of the God and pious deed to purify the atmosphere of the house. Normally food is not cooked before the funeral takes place.

(b). No any proof of death of Sri Ram has yet been received. However, according to Valmiki Ramayan which is an authentic holy book of a Rishi Sri Ram left the house for going to forest. But he did not die at the age of 81. He left the house for forest to continue his Tapasya.

It is a fundamental law of Vedas as is also mentioned in Yajurveda 3/62 that anyone who follow the Vedas’ path strictly maintaining his brahamcharya, he attains maximum age of 400 years. So in the ancient time Kashyap Rishi attained 300 years of age.

(c) Yes please, Vedas allow to wear jewellery etc., and all comforts, wealth etc., earned with hard working. But Vedas strictly states that progress in spiritualism must also be achieved simultaneously.

(d) The punishment to those who insults Vedas has very well briefed in 12th Kand Sukta 4 mantra 6 onwards of Atharvaveda. It is stated:

(i). Mantra 6 states – – – He who does not accept the Vedas’ path instead he spread the blind faith etc., then he becomes valueless/idle.

(ii). Mantra 7 states — – – He who cuts some portion of Ved mantras and uses it in the deeds which are against the Vedas then youngsters of his family meet with early death and the person becomes murderer of his relatives and is called like a wolf.

(iii). Mantra 8 states— If a person treat the Vedic mantras of no use/valueless then the person are indulged in several problems and also meet with early death.
So several other mantras have fixed the punishment to those who insults the Vedas.

(e). Those who take non-vegetarian and also perform the holy Yajyen they do not get the real good result of performance of Yajyen and they also never get peace. We have to follow the Vedas preach strictly. The fundamentals of Vedas are ever unchangeable.

(f). In Atharvaveda it has been clarified that mostly dreams are false. I also paste my article on dreams:
Dreams

The dreams are mostly false. Dreams are based on the scenes, stories listened in previous life as well as in present life. Samveda is upasana kand and tells worship for one immortal formless God, who is almighty, omnipresent, omniscient. He creates, nurses and destroy the universe and again creates, Vedas say that no one was equal to God and neither no God took birth in the past at present and will never take birth in the future too. There was one God, is one and will ever remain one. He is only everlasting eternal and unchangeable king/lord of the universe. So we all must worship him only. In this connection guidance from a learned acharya of Vedas is necessary.

It is true that dreams come on the basis of the scene which we have seen in present as well as previous lives’. For example- if a person has never seen a fountain and he sees fountain in dream, it means he had seen the fountain in his previous life, the effect of which was imprinted on his chitta (mind).

Secondly, dreams are false. Dreams may give some pleasure but become painful sometimes. If a business man observes that he was a king in the dream but when he will wake up, he remains business man only and not the king. Vedas state that one should try to do worship of God to remove the occurrence of dreams in sleep.

Future is always based on past birth’ deeds or is based on present pious deeds. future is therefore in own hand, he who discharges his moral duties faithfully does hard deeds, pious deeds with full concentration, devotion and dedication, his future is always bright. One should attend satsang making time available to learn truth and know pious deeds to make future bright.
