Bond: What about cinemas, songs that might be full of filthy and lust uncensored seen ..etc. It is correct to see cinema? Why people think gita is enough to gain knowledge?
If I say vedas has 2 parts they says gita is enough. Is it correct? Pujari chew the intoxicants (pan parag, tobacco) doing the pooja. Is it correct? In his hand he crush the intoxicant and chew in his mouth. He then took a cotton ball to make a lamp with his same hand. Is it right? Is it correct?
Swami Ram Swarup: In this connection, Samved states -“Bhadram Pashyem Aksheybhihi, Bhadram Sreeyunnyaam Karnnebhihi” i.e., we should only see the scenes/sight which are benevolent, pious and beneficial for others as well as for us. Similarly, we should listen the matters which are beneficial to others and us. Naturally, film scenes quoted by you are not beneficial, so we must avoid to see those scenes and avoid to listen impious voice. Due to lack of Vedas’ knowledge, mostly we become ignorant i.e., we donot know the Vedas’ truth i.e., the knowledge of four Vedas. Vedas’ knowledge emanates directly from God and is unlimited and is complete in all respects. God states in Vedas that in the absence of Vedic knowledge, nobody is able to know (Him) God etc. Secondly, the Bhagwad Geeta is a part of Bheeshma Parv of Mahabharat epic which contains limited knowledge whereas knowledge of Vedas which emanates directly from God, preaches right from straw to Brahma describing all matters of universe which is not included in Bhagwad Geeta. So, in the absence of Vedas’ knowledge, nobody can become learned and nobody can realise God, Prakriti, souls, creation and each matter of universe. So, in the absence of the said knowledge, Vedas state that nobody can realize God and can never attain peace.

Preach in Geeta mainly focuses on the Arjun to make him able to fight. Whereas Vedas preach about Gyankand, Karam kand and Upasana Kand in detail, not in short. Vedas preach about agriculture, animal, human body, politics, form of pious deeds, Ashtang Yog Philosophy in detail, knowledge about medical science and treatment, knowledge about sun, moon i.e., all three lokas, arms and ammunitions and its production, about their preparation, family life, how to marry, architecture, preach about discharging moral duties by all human-beings, the real shape of Almighty God etc., detailed knowledge about Ashtang Yog Philosophy and other unlimited knowledge which cannot be mentioned here to avoid lengthy statement whereas Geeta does not contain the said preach, which is most important to live upon. You see, in the absence of Vedic knowledge, the incorrect description of Geeta shloka promotes Avtarwaad, idol worship etc., which is prohibited in Vedas. I would advise you to read Bhagwad Geeta- Ek Vedic Rahasya (in Hindi, chapter 1 to 18) which has been written in four parts-I, II, III, IV worth Rs.400, 400, 250,250/-, excluding postal charges. It can be sent on receipt of your postal address, if you desire.

All types of addiction are strictly prohibited in Vedas. That is why, I submit the views of Vedas that in the absence of knowledge of Vedas, all persons remain in darkness and indulge in illusion.

Mithilesh: Please send me Yajna Karm book.
Swami Ram Swarup: Book is being sent to you, please.
