Anonymous: I have started doing havan recently but my business is not doing too well still.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. To do the hawan daily is the worship of Almighty God. Human life is meant to do the worship of God to spend long, happy life. The pious desires are also fulfilled of those who perform hawan/yajyen daily. So, do not worry, please. God would sure help you in the matter of good business etc. Vedas also states that one should earn more and more to discharge one’s moral duties. So, one should strive to become a rich man and not poor. There is only a way to destroy poverty that is by performing Yajyen, making contact with learned acharya, daily name jaap of God and practice of asan, prannayam and meditation under the guidance of a learned acharya. Please go ahead to make your life ever happy.

M: I suspect that my husband is having an affair.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. Doubts destroy the entire family life. One should only discharge one’s moral duties-either wife or husband and must always be faithful to others. So, if anybody fails to discharge his moral duties faithfully then the situation should be settled with the mutual discussion and understanding but there should be no breach of peace. I mean to say, no anger must be there otherwise one leads himself to ruin his future which also includes the future of children. I would advise you to read my book- Vedas a Divine light part III (in English), which elaborates over the duties of wife and husband according to Vedas.

Shashi: Swami ji pranam. Aap kehte hain shiv bhagwan nahin according to Vedas lakin Shiv to swyambhu hain janam maran se pare kya swami ji panchakshar mantra ka koi mahatve nahi (namah shivaye) hame kya ise nahin japna chahiye.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. The word “Swayambhu” is a divine word and is used in the beginning of every creation by Almighty God Himself in Vedas. For example Yajurveda mantra 2/26 states (Swayambhu) eternal form (Asi) are i.e., Oh! God you are Swayambhu. The meaning of Swayambhu is an “Eternal Form”. Further, the meaning of eternal is the matter which does not have its beginning and end.

That is neither it has been made from any matter nor any matter can further be made from it. So the matter is always everlasting. Further meaning of eternal (Swayambhu) word is whose presence remains always, without a break of even lakh , crore or arab part of a second. I mean to say, the matter always exists either the world’s existence appears or disappears (destroyed). The eternal matter can never be seen by eyes or perceived by any source of apparatus etc., as is also stated by Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj in Bhagwad Geeta shloka 11/8. The said are the few divine qualities of formless, omnipresent, Almighty God amongst His unlimited qualities.

Now, please try to think over deeply about the above quoted divine, eternal and everlasting qualities of formless God. Yajurveda mantra 27/36 states that there is only one formless God of the universe and equivalent to the God, neither any other has taken birth nor will take birth in future. You see, the fundamental laws of eternal knowledge of Vedas can never be ignored. So, keeping in view your deep thinking on the above divine qualities of God, try to tally the same qualities in the universe with other matters. However, if you desire to continue your worship of Shivji Maharaj wearing deer’s skin.

Main kabhi nahi kehta ki Shivji bhagwan nahin hain. Main hamesha yeh kehta hoon ki Vedon mein Shivji maharaj jo mrigchchala pehne huai hain, unka varnan nahin hai. Vedon mein keval ek Nirakaar Parmeshwar, jo janam maran se pare hai, jo srishti ko rachta hai uska palan poshan karta hai aur aakhir mein khud hee prithivi ko nasht karke dubara phir bana deta hai aise shakti is Ishwar ko chchodkar aur kisi mein na thee, na hai aur na kabhi hogi. Isleye ved kahta hai ki keval Nirakaar Parmeshwar ki hi pooja karo anya ki nahin. Iske baad jiski jo bhi marzi hai usey veh karne mein azad hai. Vedon mein Ishwar ka naam Aum kaha hai panch akshar nahin. Phir bhi jise panch akshar achcha lagta hai veh usey jape parantu Vedon mein panch akshar naam japne ki agya nahin hai.
