जिज्ञासु:पूज्य गुरुदेव , आत्मीय नमन – वन्दन- चरण वन्दन l 1)जो मनुष्य माँस , शराब , गुटखा , बीडी , तम्बाकू , सिगरेट आदि पदार्थों का सेवन करता है उसे हवन , यज्ञ करने का अधिकार है या नही ? 2)जो यदि ऐसा मनुष्य हवन , यज्ञ करना चाहे तो क्या उसे पहले दृढ़ संकल्प द्वारा इन पदार्थों का त्याग करना पड़ेगा अथवा हवन , यज्ञ करते – करते – करते स्वत: उससे ये बुराइयां छूट जायेंगी?
Swami Ram Swarup: Mera ashirwad . Hawan/Yajeyn karne ka adhikar sabko hai kyunki jub koi aisa vyakti hawan/Yajyen shuru karega tub hee weh burai ko chhodega anyatha nahi.
Jo Hawan/Yajyen karne se pehle buraiyon ka tyag karta hai, weh adhik se adhik punnya prapt karta hai.
Shishya: Guruji ke Charnoon main mera koti koti pranam. Guruji in Vedas God only asks disciple to clear their doubts from a rishi for clear understanding. So please I put my doubts here.
For further clarity on the idea of NISHKAM KARMA I read Your Bhagwat Geeta part 4 in more detail. But I still have doubts about Nishkam Karma, Please help me to clear my doubts.
All my doubts are centred from a STUDENT’S PERSPECTIVE.
1.I as a student have an exam in few months and if I study with a target/goal of coming first/giving my 100% in exam and keep reminding myself of my target when ever I become weak, will that be against the philosophy of Nishkam Karma I understand I may come first or not as its in Gods hand but I will have to work thinking and believing that ‘I can and will’ top in this very exam so as to motivate myself to study hard for success no matter what.
One will have to work like that na. Yahan par phal ki ichha ka na karne ka kya matlab hoga kya main top karne ka ya apna best dene ka nahi sochoon lekin agar main Is saal top karne ka/apna best dena ka nahi soochta hoon to yeah muje lazy bana jata hai. Guruji please explain, I will be very grateful.
2. In Gita part 4 shlok 18/24, word ‘Kamepsuna’ is explained as karma karne se phele karmaphal ke iccha ka hona. Lekin Guruji mere maan main ek accha Officer bannene ke iccha to hai tabhi main uske liye karam kar raha hoon. To kya yeah ved virudh ho gaya. If it is so please explain how should I think.
3. Please explain what is the meaning of Phal ke iccha na karna. Because as a student I know its my duty to study but what and how I study is dependent on my desire/Goal .Main to officer banne ke iccha aur sath main God ko pane ke iccha har samay rakhta hoon. To kya main kuch galat samaj raha hoon.
4. Guruji Kya having a kamana/pious desire karma phal ki iccha nahi hai. In main kya difference hai. Guruji ke charnoon main mera koti koti pranam.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Student has full right to decide to get maximum numbers. After finding the target, he must do hard study according with a prayer that he is doing hard study, desirelessly (nishkaam) leaving the result at the discretion of God, whether he fulfills the target or not.
I have already explained above and before the starting, the deed/hard work, the target should be fixed. But hardworking should be based on Nishkaam Karma as quoted above.
